Birch Island has been our vet since we moved to Jacksonville almost 4 years ago. Our poor sweet Roxy was struggling earlier this week, they got us in quickly, and gave us the best and worst case scenarios for our 13.5 year old pup. Unfortunately we decided that rainbow road was the best option 💔 They treated us with such love and attention. It was a painful experience, but they helped make it as painless as possible.

The absolute best vet, boarding and grooming in Northeast Florida! They loved and cared for our 14 year old pup all the way through the final stages of life. And now have shown so much love and compassion to our wild puppy! Even when faced with tough decisions with our dogs care they go above and beyond to make our family understand the treatment plan and options we have! Dr D is truly a godsend. Dr. Pallozzi and Dr. Dee are THE BEST. i can’t say enough great things about the vets and the staff who help them out. This place truly cares about your pet. They’ve been extremely helpful in getting to the bottom of my first cat’s upper respiratory problem when no other vet was remotely helpful. We also just had to get our second cat put to sleep due to an unknown extremely sudden illness and not only were the vet’s extremely conforming and compassionate, the techs were as well. As soon as I made the call that we were having an emergency they got us in IMMEDIATELY on a Friday and they were even waiting at the door when we got there to take my cat in. Thank you so much Dr. Dee, Dr. Pallozzi, and other staff❤️!!!!

Sweet staff members. A bit more expensive than most vets, but I believe it’s because the facility itself is new. It’s also a boarding facility, but I have only gone to the vet. I have seen two doctors, both women. They were both kind, explained everything well, and were gentle with my dogs. The staff was also very transparent and conscious about pricing. They go over all the fees before doing anything and have you sign off on those fees. This helped a lot, so I’m never blindsided by the price at checkout.

We’ve been going to Birch Island for vet AND Boarding needs since moving here three years ago. Our 4-year-old large dog and our kitten (now cat) have been in the best care! From the doctors to the vet techs, you can tell everyone who works there does so because they truly live animals. They always get us in quickly if an issue arises. We think our dog thinks we take him there for his own vacation, not ours, as he doesn’t look back when he eagerly goes into see what new friends he’ll meet. Very easy to work with, extremely knowledgeable, and there are no surprises with the bill. All around satisfied with Birch Island!
