We have used Suncoast for years. Dr Baker helped us enormously with our old lab baby at the end of her days. Now we have a brand new puppy and they have taken such great care of him. Especially when we had to rush him in on a weekend thinking he broke his leg. Got us in quickly and cared for him lovingly and efficiently. Looking forward to many many years with them.

I appreciate the staff at this clinic so much. I brought in my cat after finding out she got to her incision due to a spay surgery at another clinic. The receptionist got me a same day appointment and overall, the appointment was quick too. I’m genuinely an overthinker and just care about my cats a lot. The doctor and tech actually listened to me and answered my questions too. They explained what was going on and took appropriate measures. I was in and out of there and this visit was so affordable considering the night prior i was at an emergency vet er. Definitely taking my pets here moving forward. Especially since I’m new to the area. I should have asked for names but they were super friendly and made me feel comfortable considering the situation.

I wish I could give this place 0 stars. Dr.Claudia was absolutely rude from start to finish. She insisted that I needed to collect a urine sample because they couldn't get one. After explaining to them that obtaining one wasn't possible she told me"if an 80 year old woman can get one you can too". The last thing I want to be is insulted during a pet emergency. Thanks Doc. Edited : You may not have one anymore but you sure had one at the time of my visit and I visited the location on 26th and not in Sarasota or I would have placed this review on the correct business page. Updated: Ive attached a picture of the bill that clearly shows im talking about this location.Whether her name was Claudia or not the rude Hispanic doctor that you had/have working there is who I'm and the other reviews are referring to. So rather than evading responsibilities you can get off of here and do a better job at customer service.

Suncoast Animal Clinic was my go to veterinary office for 10 plus years until I moved. Recently, I moved back and have a cat who was diagnosed with a mast cell tumor by another vet. That vet wanted to go right to surgery. I then remembered about Suncoast Animal Clinic and called to speak to Christine. She guided me in a better direction that was less invasive than surgery. My cat was seen by the vet on staff that day and she was kind, caring and thorough. Dr. Baker is normally who I've seen in the past. He's always been fantastic, honest and attentive but was not in the office this day. All staff members at Suncoast Animal Clinic are caring, kind and attnentive and honest. Cost of care is reasonable when compared to other Veterinary Practices. Very grateful for this office and especially Christine. Location is convenient and parking is easy.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. It started at the front desk. Just rude , dismissive. I stated to my partner right then , that if the front desk is rude , wait until we get to the back , kinda joking. But I couldn't of been more accurate! Believe the reviews people!! The Columbian "lady" vet is as rude , money hungry , judgmental and dismissive as everyone is saying! I have different views and belief systems than she does and she let me know how disgusted she was with that. My dog has had all of his first shots. We make his food at home and try not to pump him full of poison whenever possible. When he needs assistance that we cannot ourselves provide , we take him to the vet for help. Not judgement , or you personal beliefs bestowed upon us! She and her sidekick made their judgments and disgust obvious. And then told us that we baby him too much. I do not believe you can love anything too much , again , our beliefs. So snarky and just plain nasty! I am a business owner myself...if I ever caught anyone in my crew addressing any human in these ways they would be gone immediately ! This business will go down , as it should , with this kind of service. I will bring my baby boy to a vet in 3 weeks , just not this one. EVER! And I'm sure the person that responds to these (the "lady" herself?) will have excuses and will blame it on me , because there was zero accountability in any of the other reviews. Everything is everyone else’s fault , but everyone can't be wrong , can they? You guys really need to do better. And maybe its not my partner who needs therapy (because she babies our dog too much) YOU DO! Your attitude is disgusting!! NO1 should go here!! EVER!!
