I have 5 stars for the actual staff, in fact it was Mercedes. She was amazing! We told her our situation and who we were looking for. She knew the cats well and knew who to direct us to. She was super knowledgeable all things cat and very patient and helpful the entire time. I would say one volunteer member of the staff was nice at first, then suggested we get two adult cats, but we could only take one. When she found out we wouldn’t take two she was very rude and cold to us! She didn’t know our situation and that we can only have one. We already have one at home needing a friend. I would have loved to take them all home! I would say that volunteer did ruin our experience in adoption at this site. She was super nice to everyone else even those adopting one kitty. However, everything else was amazing, so it was not part of my rating! Please adopt here these babies need homes! And definitely talk to Mercedes, she the best!

Nice staff, friendly kittens and cats. They all need loving homes, I wish I could've brought more home. We love our little Penelope "Penny" !! So happens AFTER we picked her, we find out, she was born on my youngest daughters birthday, and ended up at the shelter on my oldest daughter's birthday, she was meant to be in our family and we love her!

This is by far the best place to go if you want to adopt or even foster a cat. It's very well run. Very clean and the cats and kittens are very well cared for. They have plenty of room in large pens and outdoor areas. The staff and volunteers are well informed about each cat and give you advice on what to choose depending on what you are looking for. The process is easy (unlike other places,) and while they are clearly concerned to see that the cat goes to a good home you take it home the same day along with a bag of food and all of the medical history to follow up with your own vet. I highly recommend this place and will not go anywhere else if I ever want another cat. Good job everyone!

This place is great. Very clean and organized. They helped us look for the kittens we wanted. Didn't have what my mom was looking for. But, they let us sit in for about 30 minutes with the room or kittens, and we had one that caught the attention of all of us and we fell in love. Been a week since we brought her home. They gave us all her records, she's chipped and fixed and had her rabies shots! Also gave us a bag with a bag of dry and wet foods and toys. Very helpful staff and clean environment. Would go back to them to adopt again for sure.

3 years ago we adopted our best friend Bella-Bean (originally Riley-Rose). It was during Covid and we had a great experience with this place, very clean and the people were so nice, just wanted to see all their little buddies find the best homes for them. They told us so much about all the different cats to help us find which ones would be suited for our home. This is me & my partners first ‘pet’ together but obviously she is our sweet little baby & absolute best friend. She is one of the best parts of my life. Adoption was one of the best decisions we ever made!

Lovely little county shelter housing many cats and kittens. Most of the cells have indoor and outdoor space for the adult cats. They are well looked after until adoption which it seems is very frequent here. We adopted a gorgeous tabby but there plenty of cats to choose from. Highly recommended. They often have half off or free adoption days. Remember to ask for senior/military discounts if they apply to you. Staff very friendly and efficient. Cat comes chipped, neutered and vaccinated. Doesn’t get better than this
