Always great experiences with this place. My dog loves coming here and the Julie and the entire staff are always wonderful. Glad they are not far from home but even if they weren't I'd make the drive to bring them.

Dr. Mark Rieger is a fantastic veterinarian. He’s extremely thorough and competent. I trust his judgement with my baby girl. He has a great reputation and highly respected in his field. I highly recommend Dr. Mark especially if your baby requires surgery.

Really great prices for routine care... Id recommend them for that but not preventive care or emergency care the vet removed a mass from my golden and said he thought he heard a heart murmur.. instead of looking more into it, he reassured me my dog was okay and healthy.. wrong, he had terminal cancer. we found out 5 months later at another vet... he also told me this doesn't happen overnight, its a progression to die from late stage cancer. When Marley got sick that day, I called them first and was told I was better off taking him to an emergency vet... weird that a lot of comments say that when its an emergency, they wont help. He told me my dog was going to die, he wasn't wrong just not compassionate and I truly believe he failed my dog with preventive care.. he literally did surgery on this dog while thinking he had heart complications.

This place is great! Not expensive at all and the staff is super friendly. I took my cat here for a skin and eye issue and they took care of him even though he was being a little meanie.

To be frank, this clinic SAVED MY CATS LIFE after taking her to an ER with a crazy price of 5k to save her with surgery from a string she ingested. This clinic took her in with empathy, and professionalism. They gave her surgery for around 1200. They saved her life and we were able to afford it and I felt really comfortable with our vet. He was amazing. Thank you so so much!!!!

I have been a customer at Fairbanks Animal Clinic for well over twenty years. Dr. Mark Rieger is a personal hero of mine. Dr. Mark is exactly what you want in a vet. He is kind, he is smart, and he is empathetic. I wouldn't take my animals anywhere else.
