I sadly had to surrender my budgie and searched for legitimate bird sanctuary’s in hopes of finding a place with other birds that’s well kept and this was it! I was sad to let my bird go but I know it was a legit environment where my bird would be around birds and be better off. Employees were very friendly and seem to care very much about the animals they care for

Good variety of supplies, they didn’t just have birds but cats to adopt too. I will be stopping by again

Bad customer service. I called to ask about the adoption process because the website does not list any details. The woman who spoke to me was very rude. I understand that she may have been upset that it seemed that I didn't know what I was getting into. I have done research on budgies, and I was curious if I could get a different breed through adopting. Although I have never owned a bird, I am very passionate about them and understand how difficult it is to own a bird. I felt that she assumed I wouldn't be able to take care of a bird well. The cherry on top was that she hung up on me.

I should've did better research and went somewhere else, I bought a almost 2 year old Indian ringneck parrot that you can't even touch. You need to put on your website birds are not handled or hand fed definitely NOT TAME AT ALL. I could've spent 1k somewhere else for a tame one . Since I can't make a reply , it was adventures in birds . It's in the same place right?

We sadly had to surrender our cockatiel and SBABS was so helpful and kind taking him. It seemed like a great environment for birds and the people at the rescue were very knowledgeable and good with birds.

Birds need a bigger place and have some separation! They're self damaging themselves and if you put urselfs in that atmosphere you would go crazy too.
