Everyone was friendly and amazing! They took the time to patiently explain things to me and they were soooo good with my dog Pepper. I highly recommend this place if you love your pet and want caring professionals to take care of them when you can’t!

I took my 3 month old Yorkie there for the first time and the visit was amazing. The staff there is welcoming and caring. I was surprise to get a follow up text the next day checking in Chanel. South Belt Animal Hospital will definitely be the place that will look after my new baby! The place was nice and clean and I love the rooms just like if you was a human getting care!

I had to bring in my 160lb lab he SOUNDS aggressive but if staff did not act afraid or simply ignored him he would be perfectly calm and behaved. They had a nervous energy and i get it i totally get it he is huge. He looks like a baby bear but being “animal people” i’d hoped they have more of a “dogs dont scare me” attitude. Regardless the vet is extremely intelligent and the staff are always so nice to me. This IS my vet and I tell everyone about her.

Dr. Nester was really nice! She gave me information about Sosa’s hot spots and what I can do to soothe him. Sosa loved her! And he loved the treats! Very nice & friendly staff

I brought my dog back here not realizing Dr. Sierra and Dr. Bopana were gone. I was very disappointed by Dr. Nester to say the least. Dr. Sierra had been helping manage my rescue dog's fear aggression and I wanted to try switching medications due to some of the side effects affecting my dog causing her to lose her appetite and lose a lot of weight. Dr. Nester did not seem concerned about helping my dog with her issues. I have a young toddler at home and she told me that if my dog ends up biting my daughter that it's my daughter's fault and then "she will learn". My dog may not be big but she is big enough that a bite to a small child's hand could cause serious and permanent damage, affecting her for life. I can not comprehend how Dr. Nester thought this was an acceptable approach. Sure in the end, she prescribed me the medication I was looking for, but only after causing me quite a bit of distress by the comments she was making about my child, even suggesting that there was something wrong with her because she couldn't sleep through my dog's incessant barking. Oh, and the specialist they referred me to charges a very affordable $400 an hour. Just because I didn't follow up on something that wasn't remotely feasible for our family doesn't mean I didn't find the help I was looking for with my dog. It clearly wasn't thanks to you. I have never received this kind of rude and judgemental treatment (which is evident even in your reply) from Dr. Bopana and Dr. Sierra or any other vet for that matter. Furthermore, your public disclosure of veterinary records is unprofessional and should be a huge red flag to all those reading. Clearly, I absolutely will never be coming back here again. This kind of attitude is dangerous and a serious disservice to the families that seek her help. Avoid at all costs.
