Very caring and professional staff! Gulf Coast is pricey, but you pay for the best expertise and service. I brought my 12 year old pup into the ER after she collapsed. Everyone from the receptionist to the ER and surgical team were amazing. They explained each step thoroughly and with compassion giving me the peace of mind that my pup was getting the best treatment. Now my sweet girl is back at home resting!

Highly recommend Gulf Coast! It was worth the drive for our kitten to receive the exceptional care. The staff are professional, polite and caring. They made our kitten Cleo comfortable and loved as she went thru eye surgery. Dr Hudson went above and beyond to ensure Cleo received the best care and I was well informed and prepared to take care of Cleo after surgery. While an emergency can be stressful - once in the doors at Gulf Coast your pet will have the best care.

We brought our kitty, Plum, in to have an injured leg looked at. From the moment we arrived, their entire staff was very attentive as well as very caring. The staff and doctor are very good at what they do and care about their patients and their families. during the recovery period, we were able to text different questions and all were answered promptly. I would not hesitate to bring any of my pets here or recommend them to anyone. thank you, Dr Allen, Kat, Lianna, Hannah, and Maddy, as well as the rest of the staff!!!!!

We were referred to GCVS's Neurology department by our local veterinarian after our dog's X-rays failed to identify the issue. Dr. Chen conducted a thorough evaluation of Sadie and clearly explained her thought process throughout. We collectively decided that an MRI of Sadie’s brain and back leg would be beneficial. The MRI was scheduled a few days later, and the process was seamless. The team was highly communicative while Sadie was under anesthesia, which made us feel comfortable with her care. The vet techs were fantastic, making us feel heard and supported. Dr. Chen made decisions that prioritized Sadie's well-being without pressuring us into any choices. Although we gave consent for a spinal tap if deemed necessary, Dr. Chen called to inform us that it wasn't needed. We greatly appreciate their focus on Sadie’s health rather than financial concerns. We highly recommend Dr. Chen and the entire Neurology department at GCVS. We now have a recovery plan in place for Sadie and are moving forward with her rehabilitation!

Everyone was very kind, patient and supportive while my fur baby was going through pneumonia. They explained strategy and care plans, reviewed invoices and sent me pictures to me nightly. They took great care of Major and gave him plenty of love & attention. Made a scary situation a bit easier to go through. I would recommend them to any pet owner.

Worth the 4 hour drive! My little naked cockatoo was dropping weight, lethargic, not eating. My local vets couldn’t figure it out, so I was referred to Gulf Coast. The whole staff was friendly, the waiting room was comfortable and had lots of snack options. The veterinarians were able to determine a diagnosis and treatment plan and little girl was already eating on the drive home! Yes, it was pricy, but finally having an answer and treatment plan for my Nana Girl was worth it! It’s been almost a week since our visit and little girl is still putting on weight. ❤️ I was having to tube feed her multiple times per day prior to our visit. Since the visit— zero tube feedings!
