I took my dog there for vaccination as the clinic is near my house and didn't expect much. However, the experience had far exceeded my expectations. The front desk lady was friendly and helpful. Dr. Pappan was caring, knowledgeable and thoughtful. I told him that I have a hard time giving my dog medicine, instead of telling me to force it down, massage his throat etc etc, he suggested to have the medicine made in a compounding pharmacy into liquids. That was such a game changer.
I absolutely love this clinic. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. The prices are very reasonable. We have adopted a very sickly cat and I had tons of behavioral and health questions which were answered to my satisfaction and not just brushed off or dismissed. My worries melted away. Very easy to navigate app as well that helps to schedule your appointments or contact them. I would highly recommend them! I should have written my review a while ago but it’s time to go back for Pumpkins next preventative care and exam so it prompt me to finally write a review.
This clinic was amazing , and the staff was absolutely great. My dog had a terrible itch condition for over a year, and with two trips to two other vets had no solution. After seeing this vet, he immediately knew the problem and attacked it. It was aggressive and cleared up, so happy myself and I have one of the happiest dogs now. Thank you guy for squeezing me in as your last appointment that same day. God bless
This place was the unfortunate death of my lovely pet dog I came in because my dog had something prolapsing out of her, they didn't explain well to me what it was and just told me she needs surgery to fix it. They also failed to translate to my grandmother what is wrong with the dog When I showed up the owner got mad at us for coming in early for the appointment. After the surgery I took her home and a couple days later she started bleeding. I called to ask if I should bring her in again to get her fixed up but apparently the bleeding was "normal" I thought my dog was getting better but unfortunately, she had major blood loss, her gums were white and her stomach had bruises and I had to put her down. From just the reviews itself, it looks like this place is better off being just a grooming center since they are better at that than curing animals.
Staff super nice. No appt only walk ins. But after you wait 2hrs and the vet puts people that just walked in in front of you then you realize this place ain’t worth it. 3 people magically had apportionments and didn’t have too wait. Waisted 2hrs. I’ll never return. Don’t waist your time
The vet (owner) Stephen Pappan repeatedly asked if we spoke English and also proceeded to flick my hat up with his hand. He then had me leave the establishment when I called him out on his behavior. For context I was born and raised in the US and don’t speak with an accent. My mom had no issues speaking with the receptionist and checking in the dog without my help. On the BBB website and google reviews it seems like this has also happened to another family. We went to Petworks Express for the first time with my mom to get her pup checked out and first thing he asks her is if she can speak english. She nods her head but I spoke up and said I’m also here for anything so it’s all good. He then turns to me and asks twice if I speak English which I reply yes to each time. He then proceeds to ask if I can speak “GOOD” English. Which I also reply yes to. He walks us into the exam room and asks me again if I speak “GOOD” English which I again answer yes to. My mom steps out for a phone call while I stay and watch him check out the puppy. He asks a few questions and I answer him while looking at the dog when all of a sudden my baseball hat gets flicked up by his hand. He’s wondering about my demeanor. I could not hide my shock when that happened so I stated that what he did was very rude and he should not be doing that to anyone or getting into anyone’s space like that etc. He questioned my attitude. I informed him that if I had any attitude it would be because he repeatedly asked us if we spoke English when obviously we can and because he just flicked my hat up out of nowhere. Dr. Pappan then ended the exam (which lasted barely 5 minutes) told me to take my dog off the table and leave. He did not try to apologize or take accountability for his actions.
