I had a great experience with Companion. About a week ago, my dog was having an allergic reaction and her eye was swollen, bleeding, and her skin was itchy. The veterinarian we usually use was not able to get my dog in for an emergency visit, so we went to Companion. They took wonderful care of my dog in a timely manner, the vet answered all my questions and gave good advice, and the prices were a comparable rate. Most importantly, the tech who took care of my pup was super sweet... when we left, my fur-baby was wagging her tail! At other places, my dog leaves there scared, but Companion was a breath of fresh air for my dog and me. Today, my dog's eye is sooo much better and she's no longer itchy and scratchy, and her eye is nearly healed!😊

Never going back, new vet was extremely rude and had absolutely no manners. Nice to my dog but had such an awful attitude I thought she was joking.

My go-to destination for exotic pet care. I have a bearded dragon, and the doctor is super helpful and gentle with her. When she had her first check up, I thought my dragon was a male, but with her digging behavior and markings, the vet said she looked like a female. A week later, she laid eggs. I'm grateful for all that does and will continue to visit for my beardie's check ups.

We moved to Madison and needed to get our 3 dogs and cat in for their annual shots and exams. They scheduled us that same week and during the visit they addressed any and all concerns- including some regarding having to make the decision to put our oldest fur baby to sleep. They didn’t push our decision either way, were incredibly patient and gave us the time we needed to process our choices. The employees here are some of the kindest and most comforting people you will have taking care of your animals. We cannot express the gratitude we have for this vet clinic. You won’t regret taking your babies here.

Dr. Alford is a very knowledgable and kind person with great bedside manner. All the staff are very friendly and I have had great experiences both times I've had to go. I would not want anyone else to see my birds! A great team and with reasonable prices compared to other clinics.
