Description This is an adoption center for dogs and cats. The furbabies were rescued from high kill shelters. They are vetted and loved on by the volunteers while awaiting their furever families! If you are not available during open hours, email pets@anewleash.org to schedule an appointment! You may bring your own animals along for a meet and greet if you’d like! We aim to make the best matches possible for both the animals and the humans!

I adopted my dog Jasper and cat Cali from A New Leash on Life in Madison. They're are a wonderful non profit animal rescue that pulls dogs and cats from high kill shelters and works tirelessly to find them forever homes. I was so impressed with the care and dedication of all the employees and volunteers that I now volunteer there in my free time. A New Lease on Life is an amazing organization!!!! They pull dogs and cats from shelters to save their lives and adopt them out to wonderful families! It has been such a pleasure to volunteer with them! Come meet all the cats and dogs we have!

The staff at the life center at 1292 Slaughter Rd is always so friendly and helpful. The dogs and cats are well cared for and if there isn’t a dog or cat that is a fit for you they try to help find one that is. Always fun going to visit.
