Description This is an adoption center for dogs and cats. The furbabies were rescued from high kill shelters. They are vetted and loved on by the volunteers while awaiting their furever families! If you are not available during open hours, email pets@anewleash.org to schedule an appointment! You may bring your own animals along for a meet and greet if you’d like! We aim to make the best matches possible for both the animals and the humans!

I adopted my dog Jasper and cat Cali from A New Leash on Life in Madison. They're are a wonderful non profit animal rescue that pulls dogs and cats from high kill shelters and works tirelessly to find them forever homes. I was so impressed with the care and dedication of all the employees and volunteers that I now volunteer there in my free time. If you're looking to add a furry member to your family come visit us and we will find you the perfect match.

We adopted 3 years ago and we love our girl Nakita...she is precious. But..we were looking for a small dog to add to our family. We found one! His name was Ratatouille..but we named him Sweet Pete! We are so happy with our adoptions and our growing family!
