I am still sad 4 months later. No apology. Google reviews, don't take my review down it's already posted on Yelp, the Better Business bureau and such. In THIS post is nothing but the truth. They want the truth about a business, don't remove it. I don't like writing this review but, I am heartbroken and devastated. Dr. Laura was a good Vet . Her Techs and Tech Assistants are not, they are children who practice on your pets. I took my dog to you on October 31 2023 for a simple blood draw to test his t4 levels. They were unable to draw blood from Samee, limbs. The Dr. advised her staff that if he was COOPERATIVE, then they could draw the blood from his neck. They said he immediately began to flail and started biting at them. The first report also says he had a muzzle on, how was he biting at them? IT DOESN'T SEEM LIKE HE WAS COOPERATING. They continued by one holding his hind legs and someone on his front while another drew blood. After they drew blood he went limp in the tech arms and pooped. Then they called to start CPR and they couldn't revive him. I know people get scared when something goes horribly wrong when guidance isn't followed, but the version the techs told the Dr. was different. They said he collapsed in the kennel. There are 2 versions of what happened. Seems to me, someone did the right thing by recording the truth. (Thank you) The first seems more plausible. But they told the doctor that he pooped they cleaned him and put him in a kennel. Samee never was put in the kennel. I just want them to tell the truth. They gave me his medical record but Dr. Laura is reluctant to even look at her own report. I guess it is okay if her staff LIES to her. Malpractice at best but definitely negligence. To cause his death and give me the truth in his medical records along with the LIE is just trifling. People should be held accountable, BUT it seems there is no accountability at LOVING TOUCH. I wish I knew which tech actually entered the correct sequence of events to thank them, that will go a long way in helping me find closure. Doc believes what she was told, horrible, shame on you. You actually said he died from an enlarged heart thank you for that. Stress can cause an enlarged heart. It's sad you think I don't know medical people, there are many in my circle of friends. If you would have looked at my concerns on September 19th and the day you let them kill Samee you would see I mentioned his coughing and choking, which can be attributed to congestive heart failure. Why didn't the tech tell you that prior to harassing him and stressing him out. If you or your tech who seemingly had no experience would have at least looked at my concerns the day you killed him, you probably would not have put him in the stress that you did. The things they did to Samee put him in distress, you let your staff kill Samee then tried to blame him. Horrible, simply horrible, shame on you. Would you have let them do that to an infant, what is the difference? You could not answer that when I spoke to you. I got cards from his food service The Farmer's Dog and from Nationwide who covered his pet insurance. Nothing from you or your staff because you know what you did. If he's cooperative, I guess the teens in your office didn't understand what that meant. I didn't want anything from you just the truth. I do not know why that is so hard. My sister went to pick Sam up so I could take him to a different place to have him cremated and treated with dignity and they handed him to her in a bag. This has been very traumatic, the office seems to have gone down hill over the 10 to 15 years you cared for my animals. You even sent me a condolence card when Louis and Billie passed, why because you knew you weren't responsible , one 17 and one was 18 great lives. I'm sorry Darlene didn't come and get me but stood there looking at me when she knew what was going on in the back, he was probably already dead and she just stood there looking at me I knew something was off, incomprehensible. I thought she loved Samee too, I guess I was wrong.
We had a great experience here despite it being a terribly difficult day deciding to put down our dog. The whole staff was incredibly helpful, kind, and attentive to our needs giving us enough space and time to say our goodbyes and helping our young children understand this immense loss. Thank you for making this tough time peaceful and decent.
This animal hospital is A+++. When my cat got sick (emergency room visit, not being able to eat), I called Loving Touch and they were able to fit him in for an emergency visit. I could tell Loving Touch loved the animals there, not just mine. I hope he never has to go back but Loving touch will always be the first hospital I call when my pets needs services that our regular vet can't address.
I had to see a specialist for my dog's dental. It wasn't as bad as we thought it was going to be, thank goodness! But all the staff here is amazing and obviously loves our pets. They communicated with me throughout the day and went over his after-care several times (which really helps me). Thank you!! Cooper.. not so much. 😂♥️
I've used them before and they've always been helpful, my cat personally had some issues with the flea meds they prescribed but once we realized it was the flea meds problem they were very helpful and got me on track with some other good med brands.
My dog Layla (4 year old Chihuahua) had a dental extraction performed earlier that day at another vet and they did not send pain medication home with her. Later that night, she began moaning and whining in pain. The other facility was not opened and I resulted to Loving Touch Animal Hospital an hour before they closed. Dr. Hong gave her pain medication and Layla enjoyed the attention Dr. Hong gave her along with much love and holding her to calm her down. The staff there are great in handling and I highly recommend Dr. Hong. She showed much interest in my baby and was not make believe. She has proved that she loves her job and the animals there. Will be taking her there from now on.
