Grooming review: They did a great job with my dog's long coat, but when I went to pick him up, there was a groomer being very aggressive with a large doodle on her table. The dog was standing there politely, not doing anything wrong. It was obvious she was just in a bad mood by the things she was saying. She then yanked the grooming table away from the wall while the dog was still on there, and the dog stumbled over. It was definitely not a safe thing to do. I won't be taking my dog back simply because of watching that interaction unfold for 5 minutes. My dog is super sensitive and was already nervous to be there. If he was ever treated like that, he would be traumatized. This is just a warning for those who use the grooming service. The store itself is lovely, clean, and has great staff.

This PetSmart always has what I need and them some. They have a wide variety of food, toys, medicine, and things for all small animals. The girls in the grooming section are wonderful and take very good care of Charlie. I'm impressed with the store.

I was visiting Charleston and my dog needed to be groomed. I tried getting into the more boutique like groomers and no one was taking new customers. I’ve always been skeptical about big box store grooming establishments, but after reading reviews for the Mount Pleasant store I decided to book. Calling instead of booking on line I got an appointment with Caitlyn the next day! She did a fabulous job. I even liked the cut he got more then my groomer at home. As I waited to check in you could watch other dogs being groomed and you could hear the groomers interacting with the dogs. They were very kind and gentle with the dogs. One groomer had to leave her dog for a minute and a helper came and stood with the dog until she came back. They also have a board of fur length you can feel to tell them what length you want your dog clipped to. I would go back!

I only ran in for grab 1 thing, I was talking to the employee about having a long day, they said they were helping out at this store as a 2nd shift today (home store north Charleston maybe?). Point of my rant is this individual was AMAZING! THANK YOU for being kind, happy, and making me smile! They had a much more tiring day than I did and for them to still bring on the best customer service @ 8:30pm was amazing 🙌 🫶 Pass on the kindness, life is short, people need to smile more 🙂😀🦸♂️
