Thank you, Banfield, for working my baby boy, Frankie, in at the very last minute. Y'all went above & beyond to meet the needs of your patient & his mother (that's me). Even though Frankie had to be dropped off at 8:30 AM & wait to be seen when the doctor could fit him in between other appointments, I could tell he'd been well taken care & loved on lots in the 8 hours he was there. He was very happy to see me and I could tell that he was very calm and felt comfortable in the environment and around all the new friends that he made. I highly recommend this Banfield located in Mount Pleasant. It was the only Banfield in Charleston area that could see Frankie on such short notice. Now, I live in far North Charleston, y'all. You can imagine it was quite the drive to get to Mount Pleasant on a weekday with an arrival time of 8:30 AM. But let me tell y'all, the level of care and the fantastic customer service and everything else about this location and the staff, it was well worth the drive. This is where I'll be taking both of my children from now on because I was that pleased with everything.

Highly recommend this Banfield! My cat Finn and I live in Summerville, so it is quite a drive, but after my experience today, I won’t go elsewhere. The staff was unbelievably supportive and caring. I cannot thank them enough for the hug and kind words. I can’t tell you how much that was needed. I was fit in last minute and all tests were still done and results back within the hour. We were informed throughout the process and checked on several times while waiting for results. The facility is super clean as well.
Yesterday we lost our 15 year old Ace, and I cannot say thank you enough to the staff for their beautiful care. Dr. Cummings was so kind and understanding of our tough decision, and the entire staff, from phone conversations about it filled with support to hugs as we were leaving was so comforting! You eased our pain, thank you for letting me hold him throughout, and for every kindness you extended to us all (including our daughter FaceTiming from Scotland!). We appreciate you all.
Negligent. My dog has been going to the Banfield since 2020/2021. Recently, I noticed he had fleas, so I called around FIVE times and a left message over the span of a couple days. I didn’t receive a call back, so I called a few more times within the week and finally somebody answered. During that phone call, I found out my dog has not been treated for fleas and ticks since 2021. Not one staff member brought that to my attention for three years or one of the many appointments I took him to. It’s beyond me not one staff member made me aware when they look at his records at every appointments. Last week was when I found out it wasn’t on any medication, I brought him in to get his other shots and we went ahead and ordered a flea medication that was supposed to ship to my house. It’s been about a week or so and it hasn’t shown up yet, after two days of trying to get in contact with them I finally did today and was told the medication was never ordered and nobody notified me to let me know. She couldn’t tell me why nor was she apologetic about it. I let her know I was unhappy and she acted like she couldn’t care less and “like she already said it was not her who did it”. They get new staff every other day and randomly close due to staffing issues. Their professionalism has been declining the past year. If you want quality care for your pet, look else where, they don’t care about your pet. I will be canceling his plan and switching vets.
No staff so closed for a few days. Was told they would get back with results of our dogs stool sample and they never did. Called several times and nobody ever picked up our calls. We will be changing vets.
