Dr. Butler and Dr. Goldsmith have built a very special place with Park West Veterinary! I can’t imagine trusting another group of veterinarians with our animals. We’ve been with Park West since 2012 with all four of our animals! Every single interaction we’ve had has been outstanding. The staff is incredibly accommodating when I bring in all four of our dogs and cats for their annual exams at the same time. We tend to see one veterinarian but over time I think all of them have guided us incredibly well through some chaotic emergencies. I never leave feeling unheard or with questions unanswered. Park West also sees my elderly father’s dog. I can’t describe how grateful I am for how well they treat not only his very protective dog, but him as well. It means the world to me to know he’s treated so kindly like the capable man he is.

I lost my dog following 2 visits and several calls to Park West. My dog’s case was called complex and I was told we needed to put the pieces together to figure out what was wrong. I trusted the opinions and experience of Justin Butler and Jen Brogie and scheduled various tests to try and identify the issue. During the several days that I interacted with park west I was neither informed of the critical state of my dog based on a significant decline in the bloodwork (see pictures) nor advised she needed emergency care. This is in addition to ‘chasing’ them both times for my dogs bloodwork despite there being significant changes. As someone with a background in biology and who has run infectious disease clinical trials I new something was wrong and took my dog ( without a referral and after the two visits/calls to park west) to Charleston veterinary referral center who immediately deemed my dog critical. They could not verify Justin Butlers diagnosis of GI upset or pancreatitis. I lost my dog shortly after her last visit to park west. This establishment may very well be appropriate for basic standard of care services but, based on my experience there is severe dysfunction and lack of skill in tracking and management of complex/critical cases.

The absolute best veterinarian I’ve ever been to. The staff is beyond amazing, kind, & helpful. The doctors & vet techs go out of their way to be extremely thorough, gentle, honest, & supportive. The facilities are spotless & their prices are fair. I have complete confidence in bringing my fur babies there. It’s very clear that every single employee absolutely loves animals & respects the families that brings their pets there!! Dr. Mercedes is a saint!!

It was a great experience! It did not have that sterile vet smell which I think helped me and my dog feel calm. It was clean and easy to get in and out of. There was ample staff to help me get in and out without causing too many riled-up dogs. The room was great that they put us in and the vet was so knowledgeable and gave me recommendations on all my questions. They also have a boarder which I would be apt to use if I needed it. The vet's knowledge and the care of the technicians were outstanding! I would 100% recommend

There are not enough stars in the world to give this team. From the initial customer service I received when scheduling all the way to leaving the appointment. They ensured my dog was in a quiet room, had zero interaction with other pups or men and made sure he was comfortable the entire time. They kept treats on them to bribe him & gave him the absolute best care. I will recommend them for the rest of my life, but especially so if you have a reactive/anxious pup. The skill and knowledge was out of this world.
