They are really friendly, and try to pair you with the best dog/friend. But if you live an apartment good luck, had to get approved from apartment to start the adoption, but couldn't get approved by apartment until medical records were sent over.... can't get those till after adoption.. also only a 24hr hold. Better hope your property manager works fast.
I'm reviewing Hanna's Clinic and my experience obtaining vaccination and spay services for a kitten. I couldn't be happier with the vet who treated our kitten on numerous occasions as she received her complete series of vaccinations starting at 8 weeks through completion. I was also impressed with how well they cared for our kitten during spay surgery, and how exceptionally well the vet sutured the incision, along with the description of how to care for Kitty after surgery, that was provided by a staff member. Speaking of the staff, everyone that I interacted with over several visits was very friendly, and open (sometimes with a little nudge) to answering your concerns and to bring questioned about processes, vaccines and timing of vaccines. Appointments can now be made online with their new, online booking system which is much better than the old system that was in use when we brought in our kitten for her first set of shots. It can be hard to get an appointment, I would guess because the services provided are significantly cheaper than going to a veterinary clinic. These services include spay/neuter, vaccines, microchipping, nail trims, deworming. See the complete list of services online. The way it works is that you make a reservation online. When you arrive for the appointment (do not be late!!) you park in a numbered parking spot, call the clinic to let them know you've arrived, and wait for someone to come out to your car to complete initial paperwork and discuss services to be provided (they do this because the front office space is very small, so you wait your turn in your car). You're given a buzzer and when it goes off you can bring your furry friend in to get treated. For spay / neuter you drop off early morning and pick up at 5 pm sharp (if they don't call you before). Given the exceptional quality of the veterinary services provided, the friendly staff who answer your questions and concerns, and the reasonable prices that make these services much more accessible to the community, I highly recommend this location.
Dr. Tripti is awesome. If you want the best and most thorough service, definitely recommended. Takes the time to explain, walk you through whatever your pet needs (cat in this case).
Two days ago I went to the pet shelter, and I saw a really cute dog and he was only seven years old and I was so happy and I felt like that day was the best day of my life and I told my father and my mother yes, I could take care of him While I’m still in school but I was wrong we bought him stuff. I had a lot of fun with him yesterday we took him back and it was the saddest moment of my life because I really love that dog and I told my parents I won’t be able to take care of him and in school because he would be here in the house Alone and when I’m not here who else is going to take care of him and my father told me when you’re ready you can go and get another dog but I really wanted to keep that dog and I feel really bad now so I hope that dog find a forever home And I hope he can get more love than I could ever give him
No-kill shelter offering dogs and cats plus discounted spay and neuter services, food and support for low income is unrivaled in the region. The County has a big service center but cannot offer what this spunky little private charity offers in personal service and support. From vets to techs to staff to leadership, there’s no better place to meet your next family member.
Adopted a cat. Came in on the last day of the month where adoptions were free but they were busy (waited 3hrs before anyone could help us) and the cat needed to be neutered so they did not want to do the paperwork that day. we came back to pick him up today and they wouldn’t give us the fee waver from last month.
