I only have gratitude for this place and people who work here. These days is difficult to find somebody who really cares about your babies. Unfortunately, I had to learn that in the saddest way.Rockville Pile Animal Hospital is a professional and compassionate emergency care , you must to keep it if you want your baby alive. Thank you so much for all your care and support with my cat Dolly.

I have to say that the doctor and staff were amazing. All were very helpful and understanding. They took in my dog when her usual Vet would not see her because it was too late in the day. I have nothing more than praises for the facility. Any other emergencies we have with our 2 dogs we will be going to Rockville Pike Animal Hospital. Also, there fees are very reasonable. Rob

I wish I could give this place 0 stars, i have never experienced such poor care and disrespect from a vet before. I had the same the issue with my other cat who I took to my normal vet, and this place charged me $300 more than my other vet (my cats are the same weight and size). The doctor added $200 worth of extra charges after he gave me the initial cost breakdown. He didn’t explain anything I was paying for and disregard me asking to remove some items. I wouldn’t normally do this but my cat is very picky with food and he was trying to sell me a food I have tried and I know she wouldn’t eat. When I asked him to remove it he said “well you can’t get the tests and not do the treatments”. When I made a face when he showed me the $800 cost breakdown he shamed me for not having pet insurance. The standard visit fee is also absurd. Overall feel disrespected and highly taken advantage of.

Dr ramsatti is NOT a good vet, he just suggest a bunch of unnecessary test & does not do a good job at explaining things. He will say things are “required” when that’s not the case at all. By the time your appointment is done you’re out hundreds of dollars. This place is UNETHICAL and their manager Cordero is incompetent and assistant Kathie isn’t well versed. SAVE YOUR TIME & MONEY & TAKE YOUR PET TO A VET WHO ACTUALLY CARES!!!!!!!!!

Dr. Rasamsetti and Dr. Kakarla are both very kind and knowledgeable. I've had 2 emergency visits with different pets and each time I was so grateful I chose to bring my pets to them rather than another clinic. My 2nd emergency visit resulted in my having to put my cat to sleep and the care, kindness and affirmation that all of the staff gave me and my child was so appreciated. Most importantly they were incredibly kind and gentle with my sweet cat. I also very much appreciate their approach to communicating what each procedure is, why they want to do it and how much it costs.

I am pleased to recommend the Rockville Pike Animal Hospital on the basis of their care for our 14 ½- year-old Siamese cat. Dr. Surendra Rasamsetti, DVM, gave her a thorough examination, focusing especially on the areas of concern that I had mentioned. He discussed thoroughly with us his suggested plan for her care, which included tooth extraction and two small lumps that needed to be biopsied, as well as, later, a weight management plan, He and the veterinary technicians were always gentle and patient with our cat and with me, My questions were answered clearly and completely. “Dr. Ram” also explained the costs involved. I was kept informed of her condition during surgery, and the clinic called after we took her home to find out how she was doing. We were very pleased with our experience and will continue with our cat’s care there.
