Description Caring Hands Animal Hospital is a network of eight veterinary hospitals treating dogs and cats in the Alexandria, Arlington, Ashburn, Bristow, Centreville, Merrifield, and Clarendon, Va, and Rockville, MD areas. We are an AAAHA-accredited and Fear Free certified hospital, open six days a week, and offer an array of services including wellness exams, sick visits, vaccinations, microchipping, health and travel certificates, laser therapy, ultrasound, x-ray, in-house lab, parasite testing and prevention, pet dentistry, general surgery, pain management, and more. We brought our very sick 13 year old golden retriever to Caring Hands. They help us bring her in and immediately the vets checked her out. They explained very gently that our dog was dying. They moved our family and dog to the Caring Room. We were waiting on my daughter to arrive to say goodbye and were offered a sedative for our pup to alleviate at stress she may have been experiencing. Once our daughter arrived and our dog passed they let us have plenty of time in the Caring Room and never rushed us. There was a button that we could use to let the staff know that that we needed them, rather than running around trying to find someone to help us with our next step. A tech offered us a paw print and then they stamped her name in there for us. They explained our options for our final wishes. Everything was done with such thoughtfulness. We even received a sympathy card in the mail from them. If/when I get another pet, I would definitely go back to Caring Hands for all our veterinary needs.

We had an amazing experience at Caring Hands Animal Hospital! The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, getting us into a room quickly. I was able to get a same day appointment easily. I also appreciate how clean the facility is and the care they take between pet exams to ensure everything is spotless. Dr. Hamilton and the vet tech Rachel were absolutely fantastic! We've been searching for a place that truly cares about and interacts with the animals, and we finally found it here. Dr. Hamilton was so informative and thorough, providing us with great advice for our golden retriever who struggles with allergies. I would definitely recommend Caring Hands Animal Hospital to anyone looking for a compassionate and professional veterinary team. We'll be coming back for sure!

We have been coming her for about 7 years. The staff is friendly, responsive and caring. The hospital is kept very clean. Dr. Streck has been taking good care of my fur baby, and is very good about her follow up, and going the extra mile in the expert care she provides. I like the personal touch I receive at Caring Hands.

I love this clinic! The Vets are great and I know I can tailor the care for my pets to meet their needs and my goals. The Vet Techs are also fantastic they remember all my pets when I visit. I also love the online pharmacy, and their website and new app really make it easy to make an appointment. One fun and practical thing is that when one is late on say vaccinations, the clinic will email reminders but my favorite is receiving a picture (taken in clinic) postcard of my fur baby as a reminder. These cute cards don my fridge!!

We had a great experience. I brought my dog for her first vet visit after being rescued and Rachel and Dr. Del Pilar were gentle and wonderful with her. Monica even followed up the next day to see how Reese was doing after her visit and vaccinations. I am so happy with the care we received! We'll be back!

Brought my cats here a few times and the staff seem to really care about your pets and they never feel like they're trying to rush you out quickly. The prices are reasonable too. One of my cats recently had to have all his teeth extracted, and Dr. Streck did a great job because he healed well and has been doing much better than before!
