Small Door Veterinary is a wonderful place to bring your pet. They treat your loved one like gold. Small Vet never keeps you waiting, and the veterinarians, nurses, and office staff are superb. I had my first appointment for my 4 month old rescue puppy on the weekend. What a great experience Small Door Vet provides. From the moment we entered we were made to feel very comfortable. I was nervous taking my puppy for the first time. They made it such a fun and stress free experience. Very appreciative to the Vet and Vet Nurse for making us feel so welcome. We’ve been bringing our puppy, Ringo, to Small Door since we took him home and we absolutely love it. The staff is so friendly, the facilities are clean, and my dog loves going! Highly recommend for anyone with a dog, especially puppies since we were able to meet other puppies through their playgroups.

We moved from LA and was hoping to find something similar to Modern Animal, and here we are! Couldn’t be happier finding Small Door around my block. Dr Venezia was very thorough and caring, took her time getting to know my floof and addressed any questions I had. Gabby was equally attentive and caring and so is Sima at the front desk. Sima was very friendly and professional. I am so glad I found Small Door 😜 Rocky loves it there too, wouldn’t go past their door without saying hi….okay mainly to get a treat, LOL 😂

I have seen a lot of different vets ever since I became a pet owner in 2019 when I adopted my little dachshund Kiwi and I was never 100% happy with the care and opinions that I received at the different vet clinics in Manhattan (NY). I was also oftentimes frustrated that the cost of the individual treatments that were recommended were never openly talked about beforehand so you essentially went ahead with the vets recommendation and hoped for the best when it came to the bill in the end. I finally found Small Door around 3 years ago and will never go anywhere else. Dr Venezia and her team at Gramercy are my go to and me and my 5 pets (yes, I adopted 4 cats over the past 1.5 years in addition to my dog lol) love and trust them. They are so compassionate, nice and most of all knowledgeable. Especially when it comes to specialized treatments for my dog’s back issues they sent me to the best expert straight away because they knew which kind of care she needed (a spine specialist in our case). They are also very transparent with their pricing beforehand which I appreciate a lot.

Absolutely wonderful experience at Small Door. Walked in, front desk checked me in and offered me a sparkling beverage in a beautiful waiting room. No wait, went into the exam room with my cat, greeted by the vet and two nurses / assistants. Dr Tsang immediately got on my cat’s level, asked me about his lifestyle, history, etc to get to know him. My cat had a grand time exploring the exam room. The vet and the nurses were great with my kitty, who can be shy around new people. They were very loving and gentle when administering vaccines and a blood draw, and rewarded him with lots of yummy Churu paste, pets, and reassuring words. They sent me home with clear instructions, supplies from the wellness bundle (a great deal!), and a cute tote bag. Definitely the best vet experience I’ve ever had.
