Sorry it's taken so long to post this review but we absolutely adore our rescue Boston bull terrier who we've named Oberon. He was formally Wasabi. The application process was almost whirlwind with the quick response to our interest in adopting! Zoomed with the foster parent Within a few days. There was full disclosure about his health and behavior. It was such a loving and smooth process for us! All the people at Social Tees are amazing, kind and thorough! I'd say the worst part of the process was dealing with Manhattan traffic and parking as we live outside of the city😄. Thorough and caring and what is in the best interest of the dog. Our boy has separation anxiety, which we are working on and he's getting better every day. He's really smart and responding very well to training. Even though we've had dogs we've trained ourselves before, because of his needs, we signed up with a professional trainer, whose expertise in teaching us, the humans, have already produced great results in socializing and calming Oberon's anxiety issues. There is still more work to do, but we are so happy this wonderful boy is in our lives! Thank you so much to all the good people at Social Tees Rescue!!!!❤️

Social Tees did an amazing job guiding me through the adoption process. Their application was thorough and they were very patient with answering all of my questions. Social Tees is absolutely amazing and a fantastic animal rescue to adopt your new pet! Their staff reviewed our adoption application quickly and thoroughly then made a recommendation for us to become a part of their foster to adopt program. As first time dog owners this was perfect for us and we received all the support we needed to foster our now dog for a week before officially welcoming her to our family! Social Tees staff were kind, knowledgeable, and available to ensure that our new dog was a great match for our family and that we were ready to welcome her to our home too. We adopted Ellie (now Loretta) from Social Tees yesterday. The process was seamless and really smart and organized. (a virtual meeting before an in person meeting! Everyone in your household has to meet the dog in person!) The questionaire and application were detailed enough that by the time you finish you know if you're really in. Loretta is our second dog from Social Tees, 9 years apart. Many of our friends have adopted here too. The volunteers here are working so hard every single day to rescue dogs; I cried at our adoption. I am so thrilled that we could give Norma Rae and Loretta a home.

We just adopted a wonderful pup, Coyote, from Social Tees and the experience could not have been better! Social Tees found my dream dog, a 2 year old black mouth cur from Tennessee. I signed up to foster him and knew we were a match on the first night. I adopted him a few days later. Great experience. They put a lot of care and thoughtfulness into placing animals for adoption. If you want to rescue a dog or cat, this would be an excellent place to look. I could not be happier.
