This place is just the BEST! Patricia, one of the lead nurses was so informative and took the time to explain what everything was. Our golden-doodle Fenway, took right to her and was calm the entire appointment! Dr Harris the vet is equally as amazing! We found our vet home for life!

I recently changed over vets to Dr. Harris, and it was the best decision I ever made for my rescue pup! I now have rescued another dog and have taken him to Dr. Harris as well and he has gotten the best care! They also have wellness plans available that provide benefits for your dog to where you can get your annual vaccinations covered and some plans even cover, dental cleanings and x-rays and you also get a discount at the pet store that it is located in. It is very affordable if you don’t want to put a price on taking care of your fur baby. It is a monthly payment which is fantastic. I am so happy for my dogs to be patients of Dr. Harris. I highly recommend this veterinary office. Thank you for your services.

We have made considerable effort trying to make North Tampa Pet Hospital our primary care for our animals. We have lived essentially across the street for three and a half years and have continued to try and push through various mishaps and feelings of concern. Last fall we had a whole situation where a ton of add-ons were given when we did not want them, which was very difficult to really assess what is necessary and wanted when you’re on the spot and just trying to pick up your pet who is stressed. Of course once you leave and can actually take the time to look over what all they’ve charged, they won’t refund anything. We worked through that because they are incredibly close to our home, some of the staff seem to be caring and attentive, and we want to support our local, neighborhood businesses. Today, we dropped our dog off for dental and found out he sat around caged for four and a half HOURS before they even started on him. We had to be the ones to call and check in and found out there were “call outs” and so they were behind. Again, we live two minutes away. My dog has a complicated history with shelters and being kenneled and he was unnecessarily left to stress when we easily could just brought him back later. There is some pre-op work understandably, but over four hours is excessive and not acceptable. We will be looking to get out of our wellness plan obligations as soon as possible and will be looking for a different option for our pets’ care.

Believe the bad reviews. They only get 5 star so clients can get free nail trim. And another of reviews are from staff itself. Dr. Harris is a great doctor but at my time there I've seen one of the vet tech bit a dog. Be careful of donating to Dr. Ready fund I don't know what it's really for because when I worked there a dying dog that could be fixed wasn't enough to receive funds from the foundation. The staff came out of there own pockets to get the help the dog needed. BEWARE

I’ve been taking my dog here since I rescued him 5 years ago and have enjoyed every visit! The staff is kind and helpful. Cheyenne was great with Wade even with his rambunctious attitude in the exam room. Wade loves going to the “dogter”.
