I had a fantastic experience adopting Monty last week now (REX) he is the sweetest dog I have hit the jackpot. Every staff member was amazing to work with and waiting area was clean. What I really loved was my puppy rescue pack I went home with. I looked into it and found out a 14 year old eagle scout started it for older and not so desired dogs. I was happy to be able to pay forward to the cause!

Very impressed with the shelter! The dogs (only side I saw) had plenty of room and they were being walked before opening. They have a play area for them and you could tell the staff loved the animals there! We just adopted our girl from there and she has been such a wonderful addition to our family! Thank you all for the wonderful and hard work you do!

I recently had to say goodbye to my 19 year old cat, and the Humane Society made a profoundly difficult moment as gentle as possible. Their euthanasia process is a blend of kindness and respect; they administer a sedative first, giving you a serene 5-10 minutes to whisper your farewells, share that last cuddle, and maybe even shed those necessary tears. The staff are angels in human form; they never rush you, understanding that each moment is precious. With their support, my cat drifted to sleep peacefully, and then to that fabled rainbow bridge without any sign of distress. If there's a way to measure compassion, the Humane Society has it in spades, making the end of life not just bearable, but as loving as the beginning.

My job just recently volunteered here The Humane Society was a given. It was one of the absolute best things to volunteer for. It’s therapy for the humans because we get to actually interact with the dogs and cats and it’s therapeutic for them as well. Overall big success and makes me want to actually volunteer a little more There. A coworker ended up adopting a cat

Our beloved dog Rocky was 13.5 years old. I adopted him at 2 months old and he has been the glue that held me together many times over. When he developed cancer it was so devastating for our family. It was time and he let me know it too but I didn't want to let go. It has been only 3 short days since our family said goodbye and it's been really hard on us especially for me. The staff was AMAZING, they treated my family (we incorporated our 5 and 9 year old in this process) so loving and caring. Very empathetic. I don't know our techs name. Curly haired good looking kid. He gave us time to grieve, no rushing, empathetic, knowledgeable and walked us through everything start to finish. I am so grateful for him! I chose this place because a week prior I had given two lab puppies to the shelter that I had found. After witnessing the professionalism of the staff, I knew this was the place to bring Rocky. I cannot thank you guys enough for helping us on one of the hardest days of my life. I loved how they also had a notebook in the room for families to write their goodbye letters in. They had chocolate kisses because no dog should go to heaven without tasting chocolate first. That was so sweet. I patiently await my baby boys ashes now. Thank you thank you thank you! ❤️

I visited today to adopt a cat and the entire experience was wonderful. This kitten named Maggie chose me and I knew she was the one. I was sent home with so many resources. Everyone was so friendly and the entire process was smooth from start to finish. Highly recommend if you’re looking to adopt.
