This place is amazing! Staff is knowledgeable and caring. There are so many dogs and cats available and many are free. We will be back, once we have dog proofed our home 😉
Came to this place to find a companion pooch for my mom. She found herself in love at first sight would the sweet little one doggy. We didn't have to worry about shots, having to have him fixed, we were given plenty of information. He was chipped and we were guided to go to PetSmart, where we received coupon book to get everything necessary for the sweet addition to our family 😁 The staff helped make everything run smoothly. so happy. He's spoiled already
This is Kiki, (AKA Blair) 14wks She was adopted on September 1st. She is adjusting very well and blending in with her new family. As you see in the second photo she doesn't mind napping with anybody
2nd PUPDATE: We've had Shiloh more than 2 years now, and he is the most wonderful boy ever! He's healthy, playful, and soooo affectionate. He loves being chased, playing with his toys, and curling up next to us to sleep. He and our cat Abbey are frenemies - he's always been pretty good with her, but initially, she wanted nothing to do with him. Eventually, they figured out that when one of them gets a treat, the other one gets a treat; when one gets to go outside, the other gets to go outside. So now they shadow each other everywhere, hoping to ride on the other's coattails! Thanks again to PRC for bringing Shiloh into our family! UPDATE: It's been a year since we adopted Shiloh and he is thriving!!! We all love him - even our cat has grown to love him! He's gained so much weight, he's sweet, funny, cuddly, and so energetic. We're so grateful to the PRC for bringing him into our lives!! I was contacted first thing the morning after I made my online inquiry about Shiloh, and a meet & greet was arranged for that afternoon. The facility was clean, cheerful, well staffed, and everyone was very helpful. It was busy (which is good!), but they still got me and my new dog processed pretty fast (about an hour). I saw several other pets get adopted while I was there, and every staff member and volunteer paid attention to all of the guests. My boy is fixed, microchipped, vaxxed, and he was free thanks to a special summer promotion. I also got a new pet parent certificate to take to a local pet store to help stock up on supplies, and they let me keep the collar that was on him. The Pet Resource Center has so many pets ready and waiting for new homes, and they make the process as easy as possible.
I want to thank the staff for helping my son be a hero of a kitten. He came late to their office, found a kittie at his job, he worked his magic on me, mom and we got to help kitty overnight. They were happy to see kitty the next morning and said we did a good job. It was a honor to be part of this. Please get your dogs and cats fixed. These babies have a hard time out there. The dedicated staff, I am just so impressed. Thanks again, God bless.
PRC has helped with medical issues for homeless & feral cats from my neighborhood & I am very Thankful. They have also taken in several kittens & adopted them out so they don’t have to become homeless & feral cats in my neighborhood. Thank you so much. A special Thanks to Jubilee for her kindness she showed me, with regards to a 5 week old kitten I fostered until it weighed enough to get adopted out from PRC.
