I recently had to bring my older dog to this emergency vet after he fainted unexpectedly, and I can't recommend their services highly enough. We were shocked to learn he had cancer, something we hadn't known about, but the staff handled our case with exceptional honesty, compassion, and professionalism. They were incredibly comforting during a distressing time, explaining our options clearly and helping us make the best decisions for our beloved pet. Their care and support made a difficult situation a little easier to manage. Thank you to the entire team for their dedication and kindness.
The staff of Blue Pearl in Mt. Pleasant were a blessing on a truly horrible day for my family. When my 15-year-old cat, Alice, experienced a sudden health crisis over a holiday, and we determined we couldn't wait until her scheduled appointment days later with our regular vet, the staff at Blue Pearl took us in and provided truly gracious and compassionate care. When they sadly determined how dire her condition was, they counseled us through saying goodbye and handling her remains. This was my first experience with euthanasia of a beloved pet, and as terrible as it was to lose Alice, the staff was incredibly kind and gentle. The only name I caught was Dr. Shannon Graham, but she and every single person we interacted with was so lovely and helpful in our grief. I can't imagine how difficult their profession is - to guide strangers through a horrible transition - but I'm so grateful to them. Thank you, thank you, thank you, for taking good care of my baby girl.
Thanks so much for seeing my kitty Camille for her health challenges and putting my worries somewhat at ease. I appreciate the time you took to explain your findings and summarize it for her local vet. I hope she will have some relief after seeing the dermatologist. The doctor provided a comprehensive explanation of their findings. It is a nice quiet and non threatening environment for my pet with on time service. My kindest regards to everyone at Blue Pearl in Mt. Pleasant, SC.
Love the staff and the way they treat my pets. Dr.Wall and her entire staff. My dog has cancer and the compassion shown to us and her is wonderful.
YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED SO IF YOU GO, IT'S ON YOU! ASK PEOPLE WHO HAVE GONE HERE! THEY WILL DRAIN MAX CREDIT CARD AND THEN NOT EVEN TAKE YOUR CALLS! THEY HATE PEOPLE AND PETS! They are curt, nasty, confrontational and they use guilt tactics to pressure you and according to real vets they are wildly incompetent and they are know as "the Puppy Mill of Vet Clinics." My dog was involved in a brutal hit and run and they charged almost $5000 to give him calming meds and oxygen, oh and 2 staples, TWO. They sent me home with what was really $10 worth of meds and a Dollar Tree tube of triple antibiotic cream when over 50% of his hairless dog body was road rashed and bloody. If you don't want them to max your credit card and then tell you not to feel guilty for euthanizing your pet, FIND ANOTHER PLACE like VEG that is opening in February where Cracker Barrel Was on 17! They murdered my other fur baby years ago but changed names so when I was advised to rush my dog there I nearly threw up in the parking lot when I saw it was the horrid clinic with a name change I was assured "that doctor" didn't work there anymore and it was a whole new place. HA! They are even to cheap to put up their own signs! they just took down "veterinary" and left specialty clinic! The "rooms" are substandard in EVERY way. Ancient tables, just dirty & nasty. Basically, same gig, different year. Money, money, we don't do phone consults. despicable.
The amazing staff there treated my precious Bella with love and compassion. I have no doubt that they set the stage for her to have a full recovery. Bella was ambushed and viciously attacked by a pack of stray dogs in her own back yard when she went out to pee before going to bed Sunday night. I could not afford to have the surgery done in an emergency setting but they took such good care of her. They cleaned and carefully bandaged up the wound, even placed a sponge underneath the loose skin to try to save it until I could call around the next day and find a vet who could do the surgery at a more affordable price. She had successful surgery 30 hours later and is on her way to a full recovery. God Bless the caring ladies who helped my sweet Bella Sunday night. They were a true God send. Please pass along my sincere gratitude. Much love to them. What I will remember most is the urgency and compassion from the entire staff. They were also compassionate towards my financial situation. They treated me so kindly. I really appreciate it.
