Our 16,000 square foot, state-of-the-art Tampa pet hospital has the equipment and staff to give your pets the advanced emergency care. We also provide specialty veterinary service including cardiology, critical care, diagnostic imaging, in-home pet hospice services (see BluePearl Pet Hospice), internal medicine, radiation and medical oncology, neurology & neurosurgery, radioiodine I-131, ophthalmology and surgery.

Absolutely loved the care I received for my kitten here. We had to see a cardiologist, his previous vet thought he had an enlarged heart. The Doctor was phenomenal at explaining everything to me. Everyone from the receptionist to the nursing staff was so friendly and welcoming. The waiting lobby and the rooms were so clean and everything smelled fresh. I highly recommend Blue Pearl for your furry family members!

I brought my female Weimaraner in on a Saturday night after she swallowed a sock. This is the second time I’ve had to bring her to BluePearl because of an ingestion. The first time she had eaten part of a tennis ball and developed an intestinal obstruction requiring a surgical resection. Fortunately, this time I got her in almost immediately, they induced vomiting, and retrieved the sock before it could cause problems. In each instance the quality of her care was the same: which is to say superb. From the moment you enter you notice the facility is clean and filled with friendly and knowledgeable staff who care about you and your pet. On our second visit, the receptionist actually called out my girl’s name as we entered. She remembered her nickname too (even my vet doesn’t call her Freddy). That kind of warmth really helps diffuse some of the fear and anxiety you and your pet experience when you are having a medical emergency. My experience with the doctors has likewise been superb: compassionate and knowledgeable health professionals who care and take the time to answer your questions even when you know they are getting slammed with work. In short, I can recommend BluePearl Pet Hospital wholeheartedly and without reservation. It will always be my first choice for emergency care for my Weims.

I LOVE the staff , treatment and attention they give to their patients and their owners! They took my dog, Linus to the back immediately when we walked in, gave us an update quickly and a plan. The neurologist, Dr Kimura, was able to add Linus to his schedule and surgery was done that night! Yes, I know treatment from Blue Pearl can be pricey, but I can't put a price on my dog and his ability to walk. They are worth every $!!! I would and do recommend them to everyone.

Our 4pound Yorkie fell off the couch on his head. Terrified my husband and I. He was stiff and having trouble breathing. We thought he broke his neck. Rush him to BluePearl. Front desk was very responsive and he was rushed into an exam room. Dr Nguyen was excellent. She calmly explained what needed to be done. Xander made a full recovery with in 2 days. We were all a bit surprised. BluePearl is my go to emergency clinic!

Staff was very friendly , my dog chewed an inhaler and I had to rush him in late night . Though expensive techs were very sympathetic and did everything they could do within my budget. They gave me everything I needed to care for my pup at home since I could afford to keep him there overnight ! Pup is healthy and we are thankful to the doctor and staff! They even cut his nails for me

Thank you for helping save my cat Baldwin’s life and allowing me extra precious time to spend with him. I’ll never forget it. 🤍 I am super appreciative of the techs helping me with needs over text. They have always been so responsive and accommodating. Also we love our cardiologist there! I am thankful to have great care with this facility for my kitty for his end of life.
