Derek and Polk Cty Wildlife Control did an amazing job helping us protect our home from raccoons. Derek was dependable over a 2-3 week period trapping and riding our property of pesky raccoons who were invading our attic. I HIGHLY recommend Polk Cty Wildlife Control. Derek provides terrific service. I heard noises and thought I had a squirrel in my attic. He came out and assessed the situation and identified that it was a raccoon that had gained access through the soffit. He set up a trap and mama came out in 48 hours. He then set up a camera and three traps and added chicken wire to funnel the babies out to the traps. Three days later, we had captured the three kits. Great knowledge and execution, excellent communication and a fair price for the service. Highly recommend!

I'm so impressed with Derek and Polk County Wildlife Control! A raccoon was able to access to our attic through a vent on the roof of our garage, and after a quick call to Derek, it was caught and removed within 24 hours of gaining entry into the house. I'm confident he saved us from major headaches and damage caused by a critter having free reign of an otherwise-inaccessible space, and I can't thank him enough for his knowledge, expertise, and professionalism. We highly recommend Polk County Wildlife Control. After hearing some rustling around in the walls/ceiling of a bedroom in our home and also seeing a raccoon shimmy up & down part of our house on our doorbell camera, we reached out to Polk County Wildlife Control. Derek stopped by that very day to assess the house, consult with us and set up two traps. Two nights pass without catching. We did spot it on our roof outside our house, so Derek came back and set up one additional trap at that location. A week goes by without a spotting. Derek explains around this time of year, if the raccoon is pregnant that sometimes she has several houses she's scouting out and that might be what's happening. He had a plan ready to go and checked in daily with us. The raccoon showed up again and got trapped. Derek came out and retrieved it shortly after the trapping. Derek is very professional and was great about explaining what we were dealing with. Very reasonably priced service. We would definitely use Polk County Wildlife Control again if needed. Amazing service, super friendly, highly recommend!! I called Polk County Wildlife Control on a Friday after hearing noises in our attic. Derek came over right away Saturday and went into our attic and caught the bird that had flew inside one of our fan events. While up in the attic Derek fixed the duct work the bird had broken and also inspected to see if there were other openings. He then used a camera and inspected all of 5 of our fan vents ducts and then installed bird guards. Can't thank him enough!

If I am going to refer anyone a wildlife professional, it would have to be Derek. I called him on a Saturday morning after seeing a raccoon in my basement on a Friday night, panic had set in that morning that no one was being abled to be reached or did not service on Saturdays. Derek was the only one that reached back and came the following day. He gave us daily updates on activity throughout the night, also giving us different ways to get the raccoon out the house prior to having a maintenance person patching up the entry point the raccoons were coming from. He had given one of the best services and knowledge on reassuring us and giving us piece of mind that we were going to get the raccoon out in no time!
