Once the youngest member of our pack graduated, I knew I wanted to take care of the canine members of your pack. We are a six generation Iowa family and three generation Ankeny residents, so we are definitely here to stay. Dogs Inn is designed with a family setting for your furry loved ones. We offer boarding, playcare, and grooming. We aren’t a chain, we don’t have other locations and due to our smaller size we are able to dedicate all of our attention to your pupper! The best playcare - grooming & boarding around! Our pups love their days - as soon as we say Dogs Inn and Playcare they grab their leash - they love their pampering days and overnights! You can truly tell the owners love your pups and our pups adore them back! It’s so hard to trust someone with your fur babes - Our family Wouldn’t go anywhere else! We LOVE Dogs Inn!!! I have never had a bad experience here!!! Our Indigo has been going to Dogs Inn since she was 5 months old, and the staff have always been the kindest, most compassionate, and wholesome humans you will ever meet! Angel always gives our Indigo a goodbye treat, and it’s so nice knowing that our babe is always safe and well taken care of! You can feel the good vibes as soon as you walk through the door, and to me that says a lot about the culture and dynamic of their facility! + they always post the cutest photos throughout the day on social media! Please take your fur babies to Dogs Inn!! You will not ever be disappointed!!!

This is the best place! Our golden doodle absolutely LOVES to come and play with her friends at daycare! Mango is so well behaved at home because she is completely wiped out after playing so hard all day. Angel and Mick are so nice and excited to greet Mango every morning! We highly recommend for socialization and more! Their grooming is just great as well! 10 stars⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My dog has a disk-disorder where getting a groom normally causes him to be in intensive pain for a week afterwards. I let Dogs Inn know about my concerns and he had no pain after his grooming! I will only be getting my dog groomed at Dogs Inn in the future. They even gave him an adorable bandana that I decided to hem and keep. The hotel service was superb. He got a walk and they kept his meal schedule just as I asked. When I had a flight cancelled, they kept him for another day with no issues. Absolutely amazing service.

Heaven is a wonderful groomer. However, I have an issue with the owner's late policy. I dropped off two dogs to be groomed at 11 am and picked them up at 2 pm. I was charged a $40 late fee due to the fact that the dogs were groomed so quickly. I would hope that they would schedule at least one hour per dog, but they were done at 12:23. Therefore, when I was unable to get them until 2 pm, I was charged a $40 late fee. I have worked with this business when they have had "emergencies" and needed to reschedule my dogs' appointments due to issues on their end. I ended up extremely disappointed with the fact that they felt the need to charge me such an extreme fee. I am looking for a new grooming facility going forward.

My family loves Dogs Inn!! They have the best prices in the area and caring staff. My 5 month old puppy always goes in happy and comes home ready to sleep after a long day of play. The owners are great and have even let my puppy in last minute when we forgot to schedule online. Would recommend to anyone!
