I like the Vet who has been patient and kind to my dog Lucy every time we have gone there for her appointments/shots each year. However, his staff has been extremely rude the past two times I've called there. How they handled both situations about my dog Lucy showed me lack of empathy on their end and I was disappointed.

Have 4 pets (2 cats and 2 dogs) that have been patients for a couple years. Vets, techs and receptionists always friendly and professional. Eager to provide documents when requested. The only downside is that it is sometimes difficult to get appointment because they are busy and so popular.

Dr Rausner always goes above and beyond to make sure your pets are taken care of and healthy. We are so lucky to have such a great vet in the Ankeny area.

They took great care of my fur babies. So happy to have found a vet that my older dachshund can feel comfortable around. She tends to be a "problem patient". Thankful to have established care with them!
