My experience was very good. A problem with my cat came up last Friday after work and my regular vet office would not reopen until the following Tuesday. I called Saturday morning and I was so grateful that though my cat wasn't an established patient Dr. Keil could see her and he took a lot of time with us. I intend to bring her to HCAH for her next annual exam & vaccinations coming up in a couple of months.

The service has been exemplary since day one. I first came during an emergency situation, and Dr. Parker was the only vet I spoke to who took the time to explain everything that was happening and what the surgery and recovery process would look like. All costs were explained up front as well. It’s been several weeks since the surgery, and we are almost to the end of the healing process. We would not have gotten here without the amazing service provided by all staff at Howard County Animal Hospital. I love knowing that I finally have a vet and practice that I can stick with for a long time for all my different fur babies!

I would like to thank Dr Parker, Dr Mira and the wonderful ladies at the front desk Ashley, Bonnie & Alexa for taking such great care of and doing all they could for my lovely madden. He was such a sweet, kind and funny dog and I wouldn’t have wanted him to be anywhere else than in the care of this amazing team Thank you once again for trying your best for him. I think madden loved you guys just as much as he loved me for helping him Rest well Madds 🤎

I’m so glad I found Howard county animal hospital. They have been able to get my dogs in within short notice on a number of times. Always taking care to greet both myself and my pets with a smile. Compared to the other local vets I have been too, their prices are very reasonable especially when you consider that their urgent care availability helps me to avoid the long waits and big bills from the local ERs. Both dr Mira and dr Parker are kind, patient, and thorough. I love that I can text them or request an appointment when I don’t have the time to call. Thanks for everything from myself, Boone, and Gunther!

BOAS surgery.. I moved to Columbia md less than 2 months ago and noticed my FRENCH BULLDOG started getting really bad with choking and breathing. I don’t know anyone around so I called and they were all so nice from start to finish the doctor studied the surgery for multiple weeks before performing and went better than expected. As soon as I left I could tell a major difference in her breathing. I am now able to bring her to work with me everyday and do normal life things with her. I would recommend for anything I had the best experience.

Highly recommend !! I called around to multiple hospitals and they were the only place willing to get us in today even though we werent exhisting clients. So thankful for that and the care and compassion they showed my old girl was top notch. Will definitely be making them our new regular vet. Cost was reasonable to which is always a plus.
