I recently took a stray cat in that I found to Suburban Animal Clinic (SAC) and they allowed me to bring the cat in the same day I called. They were so easy to work with and were so sweet when making sure the cat had everything it needed. It was a good experience. Fast forward a week or two and my first dog, a mastiff great dane mix named Bruno, was really feeling his borrowed time. He was 12 years old and a lot of dog (150lbs), but he was even more of sweetheart. Nothing can prepare you for how you will actually feel making that decision, but SAC couldn't have done better helping me, as well as Bruno. I will forever be grateful to everyone who was there with Bruno and I. It's not easy looking for another vet after your favorite one retires. However, if you're seeking a good vet and a welcoming clinic, I'd stop here. I don't think people look forward going to the vet due to the reason behind the visit, but I do look forward to working with them in the future with my lab.

I had the worst experience that every pet owner dreads. My poor 5yr old cat who I am extremely bonded with came down with a sudden sickness, I was hoping she had a hairball, we did xrays and received the news. Crunchy was in bad shape and we chose to let her pass as she was in pain. I cannot thank the vets at this clinic enough for how they handled everything. They were so kind, supportive and walked us through the entire process and they were so understanding when giving us the bad news. I will always be thankful for how kind they treated my girl and their effort to make this easy for us. I can only imagine what they go through everyday. I will forever be grateful for your team and what they do.

Being able to schedule the appointment online was a help since I don't have to wait for "business hours" to do so. The staff were professional in their work while also showing interest in my cats individually.

We have been following Dr. Bond for the past 5 years and she has provided excellent care to our GSP of whom has bad allergies, knee problems and frequent eye and ear infections! Our family highly recommends her as a vet!

Took my Chihuahua in for a tumor. They gave me an estimate for 1300 dollars Vet did not touch my dog .Tech is the only one that cared.Dr did not send me home with findings from the exam. After I had time to think I remembered she did nothing. No vitals. Nothing! I call the next day and they send me a bogus vet report. Before I said anything else the owner stated we will not refund your money. On the bogus report that had 2 different weights listed. They just copied her weight from last visit.I am going to call the BBB on them. They ripped me off. They are new owners. They have no business because they are bogus. Please don't take your pet there. I learned my lesson.Dr Bond is a terrible vet.Only concerned about money. Karma will come her way.

This was my second visit to Suburban and will be my last. I brought my two cats in for a wellness check and to get them up to date on vaccinations. I asked about getting them vaccinated for Feline Leukemia as well; they had been vaccinated for it a few times in the past but as indoor-only cats it was unnecessary. We recently bought a house with a small yard and were considering a “catio” to let them outside for some supervised playtime and I wanted to make sure they were adequately protected. After seeing the cost estimate (almost $230 to have them both tested and vaccinated), I opted to decline. Dr. Bond and the tech were discussing in the back room (which is not soundproof) and I overheard the Dr. Bond making a flip comment about how I decided to skip the optional vaccination. She made eye contact with me through the door, realized I heard her, and quickly walked away. They turned music on in the background afterwards; I assume this was to try and mask the noise. The doctor then entered the room and tried to smooth things over by making fun of the size of my cat’s head. She didn’t even address the one concern I came in with and I was too angry and flustered to ask about it again. I found the doctor’s behavior to be completely unhelpful and unprofessional and will not be returning to this clinic.
