Serving you since 2001, Pets Without Parents is a non-profit, no-kill animal shelter for dogs and cats, striving to place every pet that enters our shelter into a loving, permanent home.

We got our dog Lily from PWP almost 10 years ago. The process was very pleasant and Lily is one of the best dogs we have ever owned. If the right rescue arrives, we may get Lily a friend.

PWP puts a lot of effort into making sure you’re a right fit for your pet. It’s clear they give lots of love to the animals. When I first met Magnolia, she was much less excited to see me than I was to see her. PWP worked with us to warm Maggie up to me and after a few visits, she was running out the door to greet me. Maggie has moved around a lot prior to me, but it’s nice to say she has found her forever home. I appreciate the work PWP put into Mags and the training they provided to me along the way. Needless to say, she’s made an amazing addition to my life and I hope to be the same to her.

We adopted one of our best dogs we have had from PWP over 10 years ago. Today we adopted another puppy from them. They are easier to work with than some rescue groups and the adoption fees are more reasonable as well. Their facility is an old house and shows it's age. The animals are all extremely well cared for. The staff were all just as nice and understanding as when we adopted our last dog from them. They obviously run a very lean operation and love every animal so I would recommend anyone looking for an animal or wanting to help a good organization to please consider Pets Without Parents.

Jourdan was a pleasure to work with on the adoption of my new pup, Scout (formerly Forrest). My application was responded to and references checked on the same day I applied and it was approved the following day. Thank you for such a great experience and for taking such great care of Scout when you rescued him!

This is where we got Wren - the staff was very helpful throughout the entire process. I believe they have some sort of partnership with the vetcare animal wellness clinic, as that was Wren's assigned vet, and they had all of his info ready to go. Very convenient. Props to the staff for taking care of these disadvantaged animals - and be sure to donate if you can.

Just had a great experience adopting a wonderful Chihuahua from pets without parents. You could tell how much the dog loved the staff and how much the staff cared for her.
