Geez someone dumped a cat near my home. She's made comfy in my porch a stray with a collar. I took her picture posted her everywhere for pet fbi to Facebook no one's claiming her. I have bullies we are a no cat zone but I'm not paying for any animal that isn't mine. She's fairly small it's crazy these places sound like a savior but it's boils down to money. I too would give 0 stars if possible. She needs a home asap! (I think it's a she)
I would provide with 0 stars if possible. The owner turned down my mother for a kitten because she is 60 years old. The owner stated that 60 year olds should only have cats age 2 and up. When informing her this was highly offensive as my mom is very active and perfectly capable of providing a kitten an amazing home - she stated google says that it’s not my opinion and then proceeded to state bye stopping texting me. This is heartbreaking as there are tons of kittens/cats in need of forever homes
The staff is really sweet and I know how every cat acts around other cats and how they like to be held etc. The only thing is and I'm not against this cuz I actually quite like how they do the adoption process. They will contact everybody specifically your landlords or the apartment complex that you are with to make sure that if they're allowed there or not. So if you try to lie they will catch you. That's what happened to a kitten that I was about to adopt but this other woman wanted her and she got blacklisted because she was lying to her landlord. I genuinely loved this place cuz they let their cats be cats they run around everywhere and it's good because then you can also interact with them one on one I highly recommend this place for adoption.
Ark of Redemption was amazing to me! Throughout the process of adopting my kitten they were super friendly, great with communication, and overall great people that care so much for these cats. Ark of Redemption have some people that foster which helps the cats stay social during their stressful changes. These people truly care about these cats and want to find the best home for them.
I work at a hotel, and someone abandoned their cat yesterday when they checked out. I have the cat at my job, and asked for a rescue. I was told there is a 70 dollar surrender fee, which is absurd to me, since it's NOT my cat! So the cat will have to be put out in the cold. So much for a "rescue" organization!
Not worth it. The cats are amazing and well taken care of but the adoption process will literally ask for things that aren't even listed on the application and it's very invasive. They don't tell you the prices for adoption outright btw, quoted $90 then $125. I could only email for an appointment, no one was even there the first time I tried going. It's funny cuz they asked me to volunteer then denied my application to adopt so... Good luck?
