We adopted “Ivory” who is now Mabel on September 21. She’s a beautiful Pyrenees mix and such a sweet little girl. CHA was crazy busy last Saturday and we enjoyed the process of adoption. Such a wonderful facility with caring volunteers. We look forward to many years ahead with her living her best life

My Partner and I went in yesterday looking to adopt a kitten and everyone was so absolutely wonderful! It was obvious everyone really cared about the animals and like other reviewers have pointed out this place was incredibly clean. I definitely recommend filling out the online adoption application, we did and they were able to print off the application when we got there! The process was smooth sailing and a very positive experience! We were not rushed at all and got to spend a lot of time with our new kitten! Even though there were a few other families CHA still made us feel good throughout the process always checking in seeing if we had questions! Overall perfect experience! If we every did decide to get another kitten CHA is definitely where we will go!

Great adoption process, fantastic and well-informed staff. They take great care of the animals they rescue and I had an excellent experience with CHA. My new pup is finally in his forever home and CHA made that possible—so THANK YOU!

Hi, i recently adopted a cat named Margo from this place in January and service was 10/10. The process was so smooth and easy, and you can tell that the staff cares about the animals. I am so grateful for this place. I found my forever pet and it makes me smile to see how happy Margo is! i'm also thinking about coming back to get her a brother!

We adopted our new puppy from here about a week ago. You can tell the volunteers really care about the animals, and they keep the place clean and welcoming. They also allowed us to take the dogs we were interested in on a walk, which was helpful! They offered us a great recommendation for a vet, which we love. The only downside is the price- I feel that $300 is a bit expensive for a puppy, but I also understand that they have a lot of expenses involved with getting the puppies ready to be adopted (spay/neuter, vaccines, etc.). It was a great experience and we recommend this place to others!

I posted a review and it was immediately taken down, I do not appreciate being judged and called a horrible person that was going to kill a cat i need to. Drop-off, it was a stray and i am deathly allergic to cats but she would not listen and assumed the worst of me, they turned me away, and the longer I was around him the worse my health was getting. Not very compassionate when my health was at stake and I was trying to save this animal at the risk of my own health onlytl to be treated like that.
