Inwood animal clinic has taken care of my cat a couple of times, and I highly recommend them! I have a very nervous and anxious cat, and the vet tech was so gentle and kind with her, my cat actually nestled into her a little! Dr. Tsung was extremely professional and reassuring! She quickly diagnosed her with an upper respiratory infection, and suggested a shot of antibiotics instead of oral medicine, because my cat was nervous. Everything went extremely smoothly, and better than I could have expected! One thing that I want to point out, is that towards the end of my visit, while my cat was being administered her shot in another room, someone came in with what seemed to be an emergency with a cat and all staff seemed to be hands on deck. Some people ere there reassuring the pet parent, while others immediately tended to the situation. Seeing the reaction of the staff and how attentive they were, to not only the patient, but the pet parent as well, made me realize that I wouldn’t want to bring my pets anywhere else. They obviously care an incredible amount about each pet who comes through their doors. I cannot thank them enough for not only helping my pets, but also being so accessible and accommodating for the neighborhood of Inwood and Washington heights!

Dr. Tsung is caring and thorough. I trust her advice completely. She cared for my 18 year old Dolly for many years and she helped me with the heartbreaking process of euthanizing Dolly. Dr. Tsung cares not just for the pet but the pet parent too. I’m sure she will help take care of Hope as well.

We love the vets and vet techs at Inwood animal clinic. Everyone is so easy to work with and able to provide good medical advice for our furry friends. My cat specifically is super feisty and they handle my cat with the upmost care and kindness. We travel all the way from the East Bronx to see them. Frustrating experience here today. My dog needs a nail trim. I made an appointment specifically for a nail trim on their website last night and then called to follow up this morning. When I called and asked the price of the nail trim they told me the price of a general exam and nail trim ($80-90). They said they'd have to do the general exam because he's a new patient. I told them that he doesn't need an exam and I just need help trimming his nails. I asked if they could just do the nail trim - they said yes but they "couldn't tell me what the price would be until I came in". I said okay, you can't tell me the price but you're saying you can do just a nail trim? Yes. Even though I'm not a patient? Yes. Just the nail trim and no general exam, right? Yes. I confirmed several times. I got to the appointment on time, checked in and filled out a form, and then sat for 20 minutes. After 20 minutes, I decided to check with the front desk to see if they could tell me the price now. They told me that he was signed up for a general exam. I told them I just wanted a nail trim. They said they needed proof of vaccines and so I pulled that up and they told me to email it to them but also that even with proof, they still have to do an exam in order to cut his nails. "So the only option here is to pay $80-90 for a nail trim?" "Yes." I asked why someone had given me different information over the phone and they just shrugged at me. So I left. It was a frustrating waste of my time and my dog didn't get the care he needed. They're not my primary vet because I had heard negative reviews about them from other neighbors before (mostly regarding money issues like this.) This was my first time trying them out because they are close to my home. I won't be going back. I'll keep traveling out of my neighborhood for vet appointments; what a shame.
