I love the staff. They're caring and friendly. When it came to letting my baby go humanely, they supported me through the entire process. I'm eternally grateful to CRAH personally and as a rescuer.

Dr Evans and Dr G. have been seeing our three dogs, two cats and numerous foster animals for over a decade. We have seen numerous vets all over SA and this is our preferred practice. They are extremely knowledgeable and always reasonably priced. Our pets have had serious surgeries to wellness checks w the docs and the staff and vets do a thorough job. It can take a few extra minutes to get in because they are busy and work with many rescues but the quality of care is worth it and if it is urgent they will get you in. I like that Dr Evans will allow us to email her with an issue and send photos and she knows our dog's issues so well.

Great service and very friendly. This place does not have a VET smell either and they treated my puppy with the upmost kindness. Thanks guys! It’s also affordable care!

Our CoCo (Westie) passed on April 7, 2024.. When you put all your trust on your Vetenarians. We took her 3 times with same coughing/congestion problem. Dr. GUEVERA saw her twice and Dr.. EVANS once. They kept diagnosing same issue throat decreasing bcuz of age. They gave her Steroids, cough pills and suggested cough syrup.This problem went on for over 6months. Her shots were updated and would pickup refills. I called in with same problem. Also, so hard to get an appointment. She was a regular patient. Not once did they recommend an X-ray or to check her chest. ON FRIDAY, April 6th she had heavy.coughing congestion but got up April 7th and ate normal, looked ok. Left by 8:30am a must trip. Came back 12:30am. She waited for us and stop breathing. We rushed her to emergency. 1st thing they asked if we took x-rays? VET should have recommended another Vet. I should have taken her elsewhere, but I failed my CoCo.. 😪 My Vets failed me. ONE of the problems, alway overwhelmrd with pets.😪

Staff is 10/10 helpful with anything and treat you like a friend from check in to exam to check out. Dr Guevara was kind and knowledgeable and accommodating. I switched here based on recommendations from a San Antonio Dog Moms group because my other vet was overcharging us at every turn and not being honest when asking for estimates before scheduling. I felt taken advantage of and frustrated with the other vet. Much more positive open communication about cost at CRAH and I should have switched over to CRAH sooner!
