I was recommended to give Central Bark a go due to my neighbor. I have a silky terrier rescue who is an absolute terror to groom and I was told that Heather is really experienced with dealing with difficult dogs. She got 90% of the dog done before he became too difficult to continue and he now looks better than he has in years and even more exciting is that she is willing to groom him again as other places have refused to see him again. The people were friendly and the prices for services are very competitive. Thank you Central Bark and Heather.

Our Australian Shepherd has been going to CB Eastside for over 4 years now and we could not recommend it more for both daycare and grooming! Millie LOVES the staff at Central Bark (both past and present) - they take amazing care of her and embrace her spunky personality. I trust them to leave her happy and enriched after a day of daycare. Like most doggie daycares, it’s not cheap, but I think CB Eastside is 100% worth it!

Although I was pleased with the cut, I wasn’t quite pleased with the groomer’s attitude. I’m used to the groomer coming out to greet me and asking me about my preferences … I had to ask to meet the groomer and this was my first time here so of course I want to meet and chat with the person who is grooming my pup. Even then, she came out to chat and it she seemed distracted / uninterested. When I came back to pick up my pup, I also asked to meet the groomer since when I called to set up the appointment they told me it would range from $65-100 and I wanted to get a better understanding of why it ended up being $100. Groomer came out and I asked her how he did and again she was very short with me and distracted. When I asked about why it ended up being $100 she just said size and coat type. My pup is about 21lbs and although his coat is considered curly, there’s little to no matting since I brush it every day. I felt like they just charged me the upper end just because they could and the groomer had a very vague explanation. Overall, cut was good but I wouldn’t return back because of the attitude and disinterest of the groomer. Theres no smiling or passion or excitement and I’m used to groomers showing some of that.

REGINA IS AWESOME!!! I have been using this location all year for my wild pup. She always looks fantastic and they remember my dog (hopefully because she’s just so darn cute haha). Very satisfied. I am Black and female and always feel welcome in the lobby. No bad vibes.

I am very disappointed. I was happy to get a grooming appt., as ny regular groomer was booked until the end of May. But, to my disappointment, NY dog's grooming was not up to par. The trimming looked as if they used a scissor all over my dog's body. The cuts were not even, and my dog didn't have that freshly shampooed smell fresh....as if she was only rinsed with water. I traveled far and paid too much for such shoddy service. To top things off: when I called to complain about it, I was placed on hold for nearly 8 minutes. The receptionists claimed she had other clients coming in. Well, aren't I a client too, who paid over $80 fir the service I received? I couldn't access my receipt on the link I was emailed. So, I wasn't able to see what all I was charged. She said she' d mail my receipt to me. I asked to speak with the manager, but was told they're out of town until next week, but will be given the message to call me. I'll see if that happens. However, I will not utilize their services again.
