PLEASE HELP these kinds of places!!! TUCSON and surrounding area is lucky they even HAVE such places! They can't be run perfect of they don't have HELP! This place needs a full mice infestation clean up and help. The owner can't do it all themselves. For goodness sakes what has happened to us people? Go and help and put in some time to help. People say bad things but don't think about that places like this personally run by owner can struggle when losing help or family etc . . There WERE a LOT of mice especially in Bird room but there are a LOT of people out there that could volunteer their help and expertise to go and do a major clean up and help this woman who doesn't have enough help nowadays. Mice control put in place......some help patching up destroyed wood in the trailer to prevent mice from getting in. There are so many people out there that can do this stuff. I feel sad that she doesn't have enough help. Regardless of demeanor. Mice happen when there are many birds and food all in one area! Of course. But right now she needs some help from good people willing to do good and fix things up and help deep clean because that's what some of it needs especially bird room and she cannot do all that on her own. I know I couldn't..

I was there to adopt a Bird first time. This place have a lot of Birds of many kind. The place is run as best as it possible by very nice lady who is not in great health and apparently she NEEDS A LOT of help volunteering and donating of any and all kinds including: Cleaning and maintenance in general from handy people, taking care of mice infestation and there'sone wasp nest that wouldbe nice to have removed. I don't believe she is into killing or poisoning do to Birds being there so trapping and relocating would be great option. Handy people who can donate and volunteer their work and knowledge to shape up the place would be deeply appreciated by the owner and the Birds. The mobile trailer where Birds are would need maintenance in walls, floor, insulation and maybe roof, also air-condition and swamp cooling maintenance would be very helpful. PLEASE let's be human and help this lady and these animals. Stop by and ask how can you help and what can you do for this place. Also, this place needs food donations for Birds of all kind but as organic and chemicals free as possible cause I noticed she is trying to feed them with best foods she can find...Seeds, vegetables and fruits and of course money donations to pay all the bills including veterinarian and medications would be great and valuable option. THANKS TO THIS LADY AND ALL OF GOOD PEOPLE WHO'S TRYING TO HELP HER IN ANY WAY.

This bird sanctuary is very needed in the Tucson area. Pima County should be very grateful for the work done for all the birds in this sanctuary. This bird sanctuary needs more funding. The people that run and tend to this sanctuary are doing their best for all the birds that live in this sanctuary. The adoption process for birds at this sanctuary seems to be based on the type of bird and the care that each bird would need. The process is handled very well by those who run the sanctuary. More people in the Pima County area should know about this sanctuary and give generously to secure the needs of these birds that have found their way to it and look for adoption into good homes that will take care of them as they should be taken care of. Birds have emotional needs, just as dogs, cats, and all animals. So, if you desire a bird in your life and would truly commit to its emotional and well-being needs, then please go to the Forever Wild Avian Sanctuary and meet your new family member. Please donate for the care of these birds while they wait for their forever home.

The woman who runs the place is extremely nice. You can tell she cares a lot for the birds she takes care of. They are a non profit organization and rely a lot on donations. You are able to adopt some of the birds she has but she does not just give them out to anyone.

Very kind! I brought a little bird in and they took good care of it.
