I gotten a couple dogs from here. They 100%lie about the breed. 100% lie. The paper work I have from PACC about my current dog that I never asked for. He was adopted by a friend and the dog grew up to be a completely different breed and WAY bigger than she could even take care of with her toddler. If she was told the truth she would have NEVER adopted him out. Now my dog is NOT a Beagle/ chihuahua mix. Oh no not at all. Nope he’s definitely Pit bull. PACC IS COMPLETELY AWARE IF HANDING OUT DANGEROUS DOGS WRONGFULLY NAMED ON THE BREED TO GET TO JUST GET RID OF THEM AND NEVER CARE FOR THE DOG OR FAMILY IT ENDS UP GOING TO. CORRECT THE PERSON LABELING THESE DANGEROUS DOGS WRONGFULLY TO GET THEM “sold” they always come back because they also make sure the out bulls are aggressive. So if you get one expect to bring it back. They like that

Great Organization. My boy Lewis found me in 2010 at a Petsmart adoption event run by Friends of PACC. He recently passed at 16 years old. So grateful for the years of love and companionship. He was my heart. ❤️ Please adopt, don't shop.

DO NOT SURRENDER ANIMALS HERE UNLESS YOU WANT THEM KILLED .. … THEY ARE NOT A NO KILL SHELTER ! I’m heart BROKEN ! At the fact I thought I was putting my animals in good care ! In hopes of them atleast being adopted by a good family , they were beautiful animals ! Pure souls ! Would have been a GREAT ADDITION but nope THEY KILLED THEM ! RIP Horus & Zues I’m so sorry that my situation and my circumstances caused you your life … but I love my ghost cat snuggles … I would have rather slept on the ground to keep my animals safe then hand it over to these EVIL PEOPLE ! THEY WILL NOT HELP YOUR SICK ANIMALS AND MIGHT JUST KILL YOUR CAT JUST CAUSE … I AM DISGUSTED BY THIS ANIMAL SHELTER , purely

Best shelter I’ve personally been to, you can see they are overwhelmed with the amount of animals they have and are doing everything possible to ensure they have an amazing home. The adoption process was easy and now we have our new addition “River” thank you Pacc!

Very interested in the dog we came to look at . The adoption counselor that showed us the dog was horrible showing him . Asked her 2 different questions and she just stared off into space . Never answered the questions. No acknowledgment at all Finally answered my 3rd question sort of . Honestly , a counselor showing a dog or any animal should have a pulse at least . Was all set to adopt , but she turned us off so bad we just left . Maybe she had ideas for this particular dog ? Wow , she ruined it for us . Felt like we were bothering her and she wanted to go home ? Bummed

I was in line for 2 hours and they still managed to take 4 people infront of me who weren’t even registered or in line. When I told them I thought I was next the staff member blew me off and told me to wait outside that I was first but those dogs were priority. We’ve all got a personal life and I feel like It’s very unnecessary to waste peoples times. It’s much easier on them for you to leave and take the animal instead of them taking it in and that shows.
