Utilized the chapel..this place is amazing. Screens for display, PA and podium, ample room for a small crowd. The acoustics were great ,, the lighting was great, and there is a daycare room just outside the door.
Apparently they changed their hours but didn't post it anywhere. Google says 9-4. The website does not show hours. Get to the store 9:05. Doors locked. Hours are not posted anywhere. Someone else knocked on the door and the lady working looked at him and walked away. He knocked again and she was very clearly angry and held up 10 fingers. So we assume they now open at 10am.
Don't ask for rent help. Im at my home 5 years and my husband was the only one with a job. I stay at home mom 2 kids. My husband was diagnosed with seizures and had to leave his job. I am now as of 2 days ago working and I am paid 18 a hour and work 9 sometimes 10 hours a day. They tell me they don't think they can help me because I have to show income to pervide to make rent each month. I should not need help after this I just need to get it paid asap and then my check comes in every two weeks. Even a nother rent assistance place had more compation. I understand some people use and abuse the funds every time that's not me I just need a little help this time
Great bargains for those hunters. It may have taken me three hours, but I scored a Kate Spade purse vintage in perfect condition. The public restrooms were spacious and clean. The store has a better layout than Goodwill. I love how some are the workers are being rehabilitated. Salvation Army gives back to the community directly.
Always love to go thrift store shopping and rummageing. Great deals and you never know what you may come across
This has become more of an outlet store. They literally had $7.99 on some stained (off-brand) yoga pants. They sell dollar tree items for $1.99 and up. I almost thought I was in an expensive furniture store when I saw a coffee table for $59.99. The Salvation Army used to be my favorite place to shop, and to donate to. I refuse to support a place that now thinks that donated items should be priced like they are brand new. What happened to their mission? This is NOT a way to help the community. I now only support actual thrift shops that are NON-PROFIT!
