My dog is a runner and Midlands Humane took him overnight. They hooked up my little track star with a chip locator to help me find him next time he runs. The staff was pleasant and my dewey was happy and well taken care of. Thank you Midlands Humane Society!

I have adopted 2 animals from Midlands Humane Society in this last year. One was a very old Chihuahua that had some specific medical and behavioral shortcomings that my husband and I were more than prepared to help her with, and the other was a kitten who has turned into one of the most amazing cats I've ever had. Thank you so much, MHS, for all that you do. You are an incredible voice for the animals and the community is so lucky to have you ❤️

They were wonderful for adopting our new dog! So helpful and they always look out for the owners and their pets. Hannah was particularly awesome! We drove from Gretna cause we thought a dog was cute and now we would go back just for the staff and care!

I absolutely love this place. I take my kids there to go pet the cats and look at the puppies and stuff. Whenever we can like when they get home from school, we'll go there and right before we go pick up mom from work because she works right around the corner and they love it, you know, we always go and just show a little love and whenever I need like food for my cats or dogs. They do their best job.They can to get it to me, and they've never failed me.They did great when my dog had to go in because of some issues that were happening and they, you know, and they took care of him I mean, they seem to be very loving and it's a great place.It's always clean and the animals look like they're always well taken care of they seem happy as they can be for where they are, you know

Watch out they will take your dog call it a stray, and when you try and get it back you cant because they have adopted him out, happened to me this week. My dog was not a stray, he was taken because the owner was being detained, they did medical treatment on him, changed his name, while i was getting the 250.00 together they took MY dog and adopted him out. I am now in talks with a lawyer, that was my dog not a stray. How many strays come in nice and clean, fed and with a sweater on. You stole my property and im gonna make them pay for the return of my family member!
