Description North Buffalo Animal Hospital is located on Kenmore Avenue in Buffalo (formerly Elmwood Small Animal Hospital). Driven by a vision to enhance the level of veterinary care available in the area, Dr. Gurzak and Dr. Reed Stevens built a brand-new, state-of-the-art facility within the existing hospital building. We are equipped with the latest advancements in veterinary medicine. Our services include wellness exams, sick visits, vaccinations, microchipping, allergy & dermatology, x-ray, ultrasound, in-house lab, dental, surgery including spay & neuter, mass removal, gastropexy surgery, pain management, & more. Great quick service. Sam at the front desk is great and took great care of my cat very well. I went in just for an emergency, but will be making them my regular vet. The vets hear regardless of who they are are very friendly, knowledgeable, and caring. They always explain very well what’s going with my kitty and make him feel comfortable even though he’s a very shy kitty. Very happy to have switched to them!

Took my new pup there yesterday for his first visit. The entire staff was absolutely wonderful!! Dr. Gurzak was very friendly, thorough and never made me feel “rushed” when he answered all of my questions. The facility was very nice also. I highly recommend taking your pet there!!!

Dr Gruzak is a consummate veterinarian: knowledgeable, current, thorough, and kind. Both dogs had surgery with great results. He even carried my dog to the car for me. The staff is friendly and the clinic is state of the art.

They put all my nerves and worries at ease. They made me feel so comfortable and confident in my dog parenting. I had an incredible experience and highly recommend to all pet owners.

It was such a pleasant experience. Everyone I met with was extremely friendly and besides the little wait we had, all the staff members were great! Dr. Hrapach got my girl Cleo all set up with some antibiotics and was willing to share her knowledge about a few concerns I had. Pricing was very reasonable as well. Overall Cleo and I had a wonderful experience! Thank you North Buffalo Animal Hospital!

Friendly staff too people and animals We’re really quick to get us in and help us with what we needed highly recommend them it’s a little on a pricey side but I’m from PA so it’s probably cheaper in PA because But I cannot complain at all how fast they got in everything they did for us I couldn’t get a vet too see My dog in there until April we needed it done like asap and bam they got us in in less then 72 hours had a scheduled surgery the same day for two weeks out. Not even awesome this place is high quality
