I brought my standard poodle, Rooster, in for a reoccurring skin infection. The staff was so kind and Rooster loved all the attention and care they gave him during the examination. Their prices are very reasonable and lower than our previous vet, and they didn't uncharge or try and sell you on things. Definitely coming back soon for his recheck and prescriptions.
Our dog went for routine vaccinations. Bloodwork was done and an issue was detected. The staff and I worked on a care plan, and they explained, clearly, our next steps. They patiently answered my questions to ensure my dog receives the treatment he needs. I highly recommend Carroll County Veterinary Clinic. Their staff is awesome and I know they are giving excellent care to my dog.
Always have a GREAT experience everytime I take my kitty to see the vet. They are gentle, courteous and explain things as they go along with her exam.
I have been bringing my pets to this vet since I was a kid. As an adult, with two cats of my own, I would say they are a wonderful clinic. They are inexpensive in comparison to other vets I've price compared them to in the area. The staff are all knowledgeable, and clearly love animals. Everytime I've brought my cats in for a checkup I have been in and out, they take me back right away. My older cat had dental surgery this year, and it was my first time having to do something like that. I was nervous, about his care, the process, and the COST. They gave me an accurate estimate, and answered my gazillion questions with patience and kindness. They explained everything very well, and I felt like I understood what exactly was being done for my cat and why. It was a very good experience, especially considering how nervous I was. He has healed perfectly, and I am very grateful for that. Last time I was there my younger cat was getting a check-up, and I had a lot of questions about behavioral concerns and what I could do to change that. The vet probably talked with me for a good ten minutes about all my concerns, and gave me very good advice on how to help my girl succeed (her advice is helping too). The vet was wonderful, as was the tech. Every experience I've had here has been very good, and I'm quick to recommend them to people looking for a veterinarian office.
Very nice experience. Clean and neat facility, plenty of upfront parking and staff are very helpful and exhibit great customer service. Both veterinarians that I have seen are both wonderful! Will continue to go back. Oh! They were reasonably priced and didn't cost me a fortune just for a well visit. I would highly recommend them.
Started off great but went downhill after we became clients. Staff has become rude in the past few months. Every time I come there’s something new wrong with my cat that needs expensive tests that don’t give any answers when actually they just missed the glaringly obvious issue with my cat the first time he was there. He has retained testicles and is not neutered, now $1000 in unnecessary tests later a different vet was able to tell me that based on an exam, CCVC had noted the diagnostic criteria for retained testicles and never mentioned that might be a possibility and that it would explain all of his issues. Also last time I brought him for urinary issues they ran a urinalysis and said it was completely normal, I specifically asked about blood in his urine because he’s had that before and they said there was none but the actual urinalysis they sent to the new vet(which I saw shown at the new vet to confirm) showed that he had the highest amount of blood the test will show. I believe they just didn’t want to deal with him on a Saturday and told us it was just stress when it isn’t.
