I have been taking my dog, Marley, here for close to 7 years and I have nothing but great things to say about Southport Kennel Co. I moved from Spartanburg to Greenville and still make the drive to board him here. Cassie, Kim, and everyone else who works here are so great with Marley and he is always wagging his tail coming and leaving from here. They do a great job with his nail times and take the time to love on your fur kids! Definitely recommend!

The staff at this place is fantastic; they truly took their time with my anxious dog, Erza. Every time we visit, they amaze me with their patience and caring nature. I wholeheartedly recommend this place. The staff's level of professionalism and dedication is just remarkable. Without a doubt, we will return for future visits.

Mollie (our cat daughter) has stayed here numerous times. I feel comfortable leaving her in their care. They are always happy to answer any questions I may have. I recommend their suites as they have more of a homey feel and lots of room.

Had my senior cat boarded here about a week ago for a day and they kept him overnight, during this appointment, he was scheduled for grooming as well. The check-in experience was fine enough. The young lady who checked me in seemed friendly enough. This is my first time boarding here so I was a little bit anxious. Not sure if it’s cause they’re busy or the staff kind of younger, but I really wasn’t consoled very well. also, I paid for a grooming appointment. My cat got his hygiene cut for his butt, but everything else on his body was left the same. He still came home with little knots left in his fur like nobody had even tried to brush him out. About a week after his appointment with Southport he has began to sneeze and wheeze. Not really thrilled with the experience overall. They did take care of my pet, but the grooming was a waste of money and having to put more money now into taking him to a vet.

Always had a good experience with Southport Kennel! I know they’ll take care of my pet every time and they’ll have a good time when they’re there! Would highly recommend to those when taking trips or just want their pets to have a fun getaway.

always good service, my dog usually sleeps for a few days afterwards but seems happy, she is naturally a nervous and anxious dog and sleeps for a few days afterwards. She is always happy when i drop her off though.
