When you donate goods to the Salvation Army in Spartanburg, those items are then sold at our Family Stores. Proceeds are used to fund our social service ministries to help those in need inSpartanburg & Union counties. This location offers social services by appointment.

This salvation army thrift store was organized out of all their shops compared to other states as well. My two issues I had with this location was I was not able to try clothes on bc fitting room was closed and wish they would organized clothes by size instead of color. I do like that they separate it by category but it would've been easier to shop if it was by size as well.

This store used to be one of my favorite thrift stores to donate as well as shop. Not anymore. Yesterday, I was denied the opportunity to try on clothing items due to the fact that the dressing rooms were "closed". I put the clothing items back on the rack, walked out the door, checked the time on my phone and came back in the store to show the male store clerk the time on my phone... which was still 1 minute earlier than the time he said the dressing rooms had "closed". He replied "okay" when I showed him the time on my phone and explained that it had been at least 3-5 minutes earlier when he had denied me the opportunity to try on the clothing items due to the dressing rooms being "closed".

Friendly staff. Prices mostly reasonable but some too high on some things. I call it my therapy store.

Somebody needs to remind the people responsible for pricing that everything they receive is donated to them. They may be a thrift store but they have boutique prices. Their prices in the bric a brac section were jaw dropping. If sticker/ tag switching is your problem, it is probably because your prices are too high. They are very trashy too. Please let them know that they need to sweep their floors sometime.

My Husband and I stopped in one day bc he was looking for Men's Suits. He found one and I found a couple of blouses. They have some good things in there, but I rather go to Goodwill. They always have some good, nice things there. Matter of fact, we had just left Goodwills bc my husband wanted more and more suits. I like Goodwills better😊💯

I told him when I called on to pick items that I lived on 2 level of my apartment. He said okay if you could help them put it down stairs cause they don't come up and down steps. But the guy didn't ever let me take it down stairs. Just lack of communication alone with other etc.
