Wonderful experience adopting our "Chip" through them - a puppy mill release. The negative reviews I've read are laughable because these are obviously folks who don't understand the cost and care associated with rescue dogs and/or are bitter they weren't chosen to adopt. The foster I worked with traveled an hour each way to do a home visit with my family. It's obvious they are passionate about rescue and do their best to make sure the dogs are a good match for potential adopters. This organization is doing great work and I would happily adopt from them again.

I'm in process of adoption for Tilly. Foster mom is great and so knowledgeable and pleasant to work with. They really have dogs best interest at heart. Jan 6 2024, Tilly is home with me. Spayed, chipped and all mine. She's so huggable. Still (Sept2024)

We adopted the sweetest Dachshund rescue from Buffalo Pug and Small Breed Rescue. They were so wonderful to work with and took such great care of him. We are so thankful to them for bringing little Chase into our lives! He is doing great and happy as can be!

Adopted our sweet girl Tunie from a great loving group call Buffalo Plugs! They worked with us to meet at our home out of town , these great people went out of they way to help! Tunie is a wonderful lap dog and all around laugh a minute addition to our home! Thanks again Lisa

While I'm happy to donate to a animal shelter, they really should send a simple email out letting you know a dog you applied for got adopted. Yes, it does say they may not contact you, but common courtesy goes a long way now a days. Especially when you have to donate $10 just to fill out an application. And again, happy to donate, but a change in communication practices would benefit this shelter.

We adopted our little girl from Buffalo Pug & Small Breed Rescue, Inc. and we absolutely love her! Everyone we interacted with at the shelter was so nice and friendly. Her foster mom was awesome and so loving to her, which helped make a nice transition when we brought her home. Highly recommend adopting a forever fluffy friend from BP&SBR.
