They are such a joke they discriminate against people with mental health issues and who are mentally handicapped....My friend was denied while she was pregnant a place to stay because she has mental health issues amd.rhwy aren't wanting people like her....Also there is multiple drug users around the area ajd inside the building i know multiple people who are using and the staff are okay wirh it...Some of the staff even help getting them the drugs .. Seriously such disgusting human beings who deny a woman who's pregnant and homeless foe months...I am a witness to all of these and hearing them from multiple staff and people who are sleeping at this disgusting place called aid for friends.

I called the shelter Sunday before they closed and left them a message. The following still hadn't recieved a call back but my husband decided to take over the items that we wanted to donate. The lady searched through the items and took a smaller portion of what they thought they could use.

Me and my ex husband stayed here a little while ago and they ended up kicking us out for the simple fact we came back 10 min after curfew because we had to take my one year old to the hospital (all because of their bed bugs!) They wouldn't let us get any of our things and ended up putting it in the donation pile before we could come back and get any of it (which we didn't have anything left they put EVEYTHING we owned out) Mind you they knew we didn't have a vehicle, this place is truly crooked and you would have better luck going to a church for help. Trust me.

They wouldn't let an elderly couple that can barely walk that is living in the van with me warm up for a few minutes when it was cold it was 30 degrees this morning and my van doesn't wanna start how are you gonna say your there for the homeless but won't help the homeless because your not a warming shelter when you don't have enough beds I understand not having enough beds but why can't they get 5 minutes of warmth. Go to salvation army they are more willing to help.

The lady at the main office acted completely disrespectful and rude when I went in seeking their help on assisisting me with my homeless situation. Sharon, the main supervisor took me outside and took pics of my car and preceded to tell me that she had a hard time with this because I didn't seem homeless with a car that nice and clean.(car washes covered by employer for advertising) She then told me I had to schedule for a assessment. The scheduled date we had sharon was Ill and had to reschedule for the next week. In a Homeless situation, a week really matters. The car isn't in my name, either way, that shouldn't stop me from being treated any differently. I since have not been back for the assessment due to anxiety issues I had before and even more after my visit.
