This is a gem of a pet and feed store. Prices are decent and they have animals from dogs and cats to fish and reptiles. Be sure to bring some quarters for the petting zoo.

The absolute best place! Pet store, garden store, feed, and mini zoo. This place has been serving the community for.. well, I’m not sure but let’s just say this. When I was little we went on a field trip to Mckees and now my kids are going on field trips there. Well done McKees and to the community at large, please support them. Do not buy your puppies from out of state “breeders”. These guys have the same pets.

Went there to get my annual veggies and flower pots like I have for the past twenty + years. I felt ignored and down right not welcome. I was looking for several different plants that I needed direction in finding, I was totally ignored. When it happened once I didn’t think much of it, the young lady looked right at me before I could get my words out she looked past me and asked another woman behind me if she needs help. So I went over too their side nursery and another young lady did the same thing, then the straw was the old man gave my a very uncomfortable look and totally asked everyone else if they needed help but me! Well I put what I had picked out back on the shelf and left thinking never will I return to what used to be my neighborhood nursery 🤷🏻‍♀️😢.

The petting zoo at McKee's is awesome. Goats, cats, chickens, emus, pigs, sheep, lambs, fish, ducks, etc. You can spend hours with your kids feeding the animals and then later spend hours explaining to your children that they can't have one of each of the animals that they saw. Reasonable prices on store goods and decent selections and service. Have fun!

I love Mckee's. They are one of the best pet shops I've been to and definitely the best in Pocatello. They always have a clean store and plenty of animal adoption options. Their prices are great and the staff have always been friendly to me.
