Veteran & staff are all fantastic, Friendly, very understanding, and a happy group to be around. Even on crazy busy days, I know that this group of dedicated animal caregivers is giving my dogs the best care available anywhere. My dogs are treated with kindness, They know the vet and assistants and greet them all with happy tails. They are not scared and like going to see Lana & staff at Hawthorne Animal Hospital.

Their staff is so welcoming Everytime we step in the door. Their team is so knowledgeable and professional with our babies. They were so kind and compassionate when we had to put our longtime friend down. We've had small, medium, and X-large breed dogs seen here, and they've all received the same excellent treatment and with specific knowledge of each breeds needs and cautions. We are so grateful for the care our furry friends receive here.

I've taken all of my pets to Hawthorne until May of 2024. I have a puppy who was rough housing with my other dogs and got his leg broken. I called in to get him seen. The receptionist rudely questioned why I hadn't taken my pets in in recently, to which I responded that they hadn't had any issues and were perfectly healthy. At this point she told me that I was just going to have to call around and find someone else, well I'm sure glad that I did. I called ROCK CREEK VETERINARY SERVICES and was seen that day. ROCK CREEK made us feel like we belonged there. Thank you for sending me somewhere else!

Unprofessional and very rude! The vet brought her PET in during my dogs visit, my dog doesn’t do well with other animals and it made her very uncomfortable. The vet looked at us as if we were torturing our 15 year old dog when we brought up putting her down, she said “this dog has YEARS left.” In front of us, the vet was petting our dog and saying “you poor mistreated thing.” We love our dog which is why we brought her to a vet! Putting a dog down is a hard enough choice but being guilt tripped to keep her alive while she is suffering is not okay.

I absolutely love this place. Dr. G an amazing Dr. You can tell she loves animals her heart is in her work. Dr. Oats I miss her tremendously. Those 2 Dr.'s together made/make a great team.
