I visited this VCA location today for the first time. I had extreme anxiety about coming in because it was our first vet visit since we had to put our other dog down. The team there is very kind, unwaveringly patient and so helpful. The manager, Kayla, went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. The vet we saw was Dr. Baumgart - he was very patient, thorough and as helpful as could be. A huge weight was lifted off my shoulders this visit and I’ve definitely found my new vet!

We had to make the dreaded decision for our 13 year old Golden retriever this past week. He was part of our family since 8 weeks old. The staff and vet here were so kind through the whole process from the 1st phone call to the end. They were very patient and made everything as comfortable as they could. Just wanted to say thank you for being so compassionate. We even recieved a hand written card from the vet who was with us that day.

Super friendly & professional staff, they have been taking care of our Duke since he was a baby, he’s growing up beautiful & healthy as ever! Thanks to the staff for always helping me right away with any concerns I’ve had, they are wonderful here! :-)

We were from out of state and in need of a prescription for our dog. The staff and doctor here were so helpful and wonderful with both us and Stewie! My husband and I were very impressed with our experience. I would definitely recommend these people to take care of your precious animals.

We recently got 3 kittens and brought them to VCA Baywood. Dr. Baumgart, Stacy, front desk staff and techs have been wonderful to work with! They follow up to check on our babies and return messages very quickly. We look forward to them caring for our clan for years to come. Thank you Baywood for all you do!!!!

When we relocated from NJ our staffy decided to get sick before we had time to find a vet. VCA Baywood got her in same day. We instantly fell in love! They are compassionate, caring and professional. Dr. Martin is amazing with our Tuna as is Jay, Stacy, Kayla and Liz. They are part of our family now. We can't say enough good things about this practice.
