Let me tell you a little story of a little kitten. The kitten was found under my house; my youngest kid brought it to me. The kitten was small, could barely stand. I tried to feed the kitten using warm milk through the pipette, but the kitten was too young to eat on his own. So, I decided to take the kitten to the shelter, and I did just that. I specifically asked to adopt the kitten, and the system was marked to ensure that I will be the first to be notified when the kitten is available for adoption. I was assured I would be notified. Long story short: after visiting this place several times inquiring about the kitten, sending an email inquiring about the kitten, the kitten was offered to a foster family who bottle-fed the kitten. Such a disappointment. My kids were really waiting for the kitten. Somehow, the adoption coordinator (I was told) decided to give the kitten to the foster family. This place does not live by the rules they preach. They do not follow their own rules. This place may be good for dumpster kittens to be rescued, but if you want to adopt a specific kitten – good luck. I am thoroughly disappointed and have a hard time recommending this place. Take your animals somewhere else.
Adopted 2 kittens. Animals were kept in clean facilities & appeared well cared for. Staff was friendly & helpful. Fees were very reasonable considering services provided. Animals were spayed or neutered, chipped & licensed. A temporary carrier was provided with blankets & a couple small toys as well as a baggie with kibble & ~4 cans of wet food. Cats were 2 months old & had been fostered for most of that time. They were well socialized. The fee was $100 per cat & I will need to get rabies shots in 2 Mos since they were too young to get them now. Cats over 6 Mos are $30 to adopt. Available animals can be viewed on their website. I was very impressed with services & the Cats are already sleeping on my lap when given the opportunity.
Thank you to all staff, vet team, and everyone else in successfully saving this little guy! I’ve taken him in on Sept 15th, and this is him today! Eats, sleeps, and blasts us with playful zoomies and positive energy in our home. The team did an exceptional job in providing all the necessary medication and food as well as the instructions and a pet warranty of 90 days (which I don’t need). I definitely recommend picking up your next buddy there!
***STOLEN KITTEN!!!!*** My fiancé and I found a kitten, we wanted him to get a check up but no vet would see him because he wasn’t our cat, so my fiancé took him to this shelter and let them know if he doesn’t have a chip or owner we would like to adopt him, that was on 9/3 and they said they’d keep him a week in quarantine, before we could adopt. On 9/6 at 5:48pm(They close at 6pm) my fiancé gets a call but missed it, he tried calling and texting back but no reply. Everyday we check to see if they would post him on the website to adopt. Finally, we were like let’s go see what’s going on, and lady there said he was adopted on the 10th. So barely a week if you included weekends and they didn’t reply to us or answers our calls, when we were trying to get the kitten. Sorry, but we can’t help but to feel like they stole our kitten. If you find a kitten and want to adopt them don’t bring them in here, they will literally steal them from you. And worst thing they named him Macaroni, also whoever works there that stole our kitten you suck!
This was my first time adopting a pet. They made the process very easy and the workers I interacted with all seem to love and care for the animals there. Walking in to “just look” was definitely one of the best decisions I’ve made.
I wanted to take a moment and let everyone know that Raskc blessed our family with bringing our baby home. We had our husky Bella taken from us about 5 years ago from Colorado, where we reside. We tried everything to find her, but the saving grace was microchipping her. So I highly recommend microchipping your babies and never giving up hope. We will forever be grateful to you all, especially Chloe, and we are so happy to have her back. Thank you so much, and know Bella is so happy to be home and with all our other fur babies💓
